Help us Celebrate Members of #TeamJeffco

Share and Record a Message for this Year's Values Awards Ceremony

Celebrate all of the incredible members of #TeamJeffco! We are asking our community to help us in creating a video montage (or "tribute") for Jeffco Public Schools employees which will be shown at the Values Awards virtual event taking place on Tuesday, April 13.

While we will be celebrating and recognizing a select group of District Values Awards winners at this event, we would also like to take a few moments during the event to express gratitude to ALL employees. Share and record a quick message to show your appreciation!

CMAS Update

Colorado State's Plan Conditionally Approved by Department of Education

What does that mean for Jeffco?

On Friday, March 26, the Colorado Department of Education announced the State's plan for state assessments has been conditionally approved by the U.S. Department of Education.

Under the approved plan, districts are required to administer some of the Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) and Colorado alternate (CoAlt) assessments, while other assessments will become optional or will be suspended. Grade 8 Science, PSAT 9 and 10, as well as the SAT for grade 11 will be administered as previously scheduled.

Jeffco's spring 2021 CMAS test window is March 22 - May 14. Each school tailors its testing schedule within this window to meet the unique needs of its students and community. Schools will be communicating with their students and families about specific test dates and other CMAS information.

The reduced assessment requirements are for this spring only. Parents and caregivers who want to know how their children are progressing in both English language arts and math may have their children take both tests. Schools will notify families about how students may take assessments in both subject areas.
