DISTRICT SAFETY PLAN AND EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
The district's safety plan identifies security programs and measures that focus on prevention, intervention, and crisis response.

Closures & Delayed Start
We live in an area where snow is typical in the winter and unless the storm is extreme, school will not be canceled or delayed.
Many factors are taken into consideration when deciding to close schools, but the safety of students and staff is the number one consideration Decision-makers and district staff work through the night and early morning to determine the best course of action and to clear the roads and our school sites.

Bond Program Updates
Exciting building improvements are coming to schools across the district, thanks to the voter-approved 2018 bond measure! Many projects are in the design phase and will kick-off over the summer. Tech for Ed
As students start back to school for the 2019-2020 school year, two grades will do so with a brand new instructional device — a touchscreen Chromebook or iPad. These devices are part of a four-year plan to create technology-enabled classrooms in fifth through twelfth grades that prepare students to thrive in a digitally connected world in alignment with the Jeffco Generations Strategic Plan.
2019-2020 fifth- and ninth-graders in neighborhood and option schools will be the first to receive their devices as a part of this program.

Code of Conduct/Discipline
The Student and Family Handbook (Code of Conduct) is designed to promote safety through high standards of behavior. The handbook is available to download in PDF format in multiple languages. All families are expected to review this with their student(s)
