VALENTINEs' Day Parties
PTSA is so happy to help Leawood celebrate Valentine's Day this year on Monday, February 14th. As with our holiday parties, parent volunteers will send in the craft or game, or sign up for the treats.
Conference Dinners for Staff
Conferences will be held on February 16th and 17th. This year we will be providing meals again for the staff! On the 16th, we will have a potato bar theme, and a nacho bar theme for the 17th. Please sign up to contribute:

MARQUEE
Is your kiddo's birthday coming up? Did they accomplish something big for them? Want to celebrate your child in a fun and meaningful way? Send them a message on the school marquee! It's a fun way to celebrate your child :)

Watchdog Dads and Marvelous Moms are a great way to get involved and help our community. We are looking for 2 morning and 2 afternoon volunteers for cross walk duty before and after school. When you sign in, you'll get the vest/radio/sign and be assigned a crosswalk to help out. All crosswalk helpers must take our district training. If you can stay the full day and help in classrooms, the lunch room, and out at recess, we'd love to have you! Please contact Matt Goman with any questions

The Read-a-thon is returning! This year we will be having a "Beach Theme"! The Read A Thon will be held April 21-29, with lots of fun prizes, including gift certificates to the Scholastic book fair being help in May!

You Can Still Support Leawood by participating in the following programs . We are still collecting Box Tops and Milk Caps for Mooola. We have a collection bin in the front entryway of the school. We are also participating in the American Furniture Warehouse and Burgers for Better Schools Programs.
Burgers for Better Schools Program Leawood has been selected by Red Robin to be a part of this new program. Every time you eat at Red Robin, 1% of your check will be donated directly to your school of choice. Be sure to invite your friends, family and neighbors to join Red Robin Royalty and opt-in to support your school, too. Remember, the more you devour – the more they’ll donate!

Wall of Pride
The Wall of Pride is Leawood’s way of acknowledging our responsible students. These good citizens are chosen by their teachers for demonstrating Respect, Responsibility and Safety. Students can be recognized for any of these traits during any month of the year, with the expectation that each student is recognized at least one time. These students will have their picture taken and will eat lunch with Mrs. Shehan during the monthly Wall of Pride lunch. The January Wall of Pride Students were:
