The Social Emotional Learning Counselors in the gifted and talented department are doing a book study in south area for parents. The book study is about anxiety, if you are interested please see the this link. The book study begins October 2nd.

It’s important to us as parents to ensure that our children feel safe and secure. However, the past three years have constantly reminded us that we cannot guarantee safety or control outcomes. This is a challenge for all human beings, but particularly so for those who experience the myriad sensitivities and intensities of neurodivergence. Join Jenny Hecht to explore how we can free ourselves from the myths of certainty and control in a way that will benefit us and our children, and enable us to better navigate life’s uncertainties.

GT Center Applications
Many families of 5th grade students choose to attend GT Center for middle school if their student qualifies. The application for next school year happens quickly and we don’t want you to miss out if you are interested. The application for GT Center for next school year can be accessed here . The deadline for application is October 13th @ 4:00pm. Only students who are accepted and who applied on time will be able to enroll in GT Center during round one of EnrollJeffco.
