Dear Leawood Families,
It is hard to believe that February is already here. The year is going by so quickly. It is so exciting to see the growth that our students have made so far this year! Join us for our next School Accountability meeting on Wednesday, February 9th beginning at 6:00 pm on Zoom. We will be reviewing data and schools goals on our UIP, looking at our budget and staffing for next year, and beginning to dig into the results of our Family School Partnership Survey.
If you're new to our newsletter format, at the bottom of each page, there are links to other pages with lots more information. The "landing page" will always be a message from me with important dates for the month, but then please also click on "News from the School and Office", "News from our Teachers," "News from our PTSA & Accountability," and "News from our District and Community." This February newsletter also includes a page "Parent/Teacher Conferences" which contains the links to signup for our virtual conferences. Conferences this year are held on Wednesday and Thursday, February 16 and 17. Both days will be early release at 1:15pm.
Join us for our next PTSA sponsored Community Night at Skate City on Monday, February 1st from 6-8pm. Our next Leawood Eats Community Night is Tuesday, February 8th at Red Robin, TAKE OUT ONLY.
Please remember that we will have no school on Monday, February 21st in honor of Presidents' Day
