Last call for pop tops this year. Our last pick up day is May 17th. Thank you for all your support this year. Right now we have 74 pounds so far, and are hoping to make it to 100 pounds. All pop tops are donated to The Ronald McDonald House in Denver to continue their great work of helping children and families.

Thanks to all the Columbine students who showed up Thursday, April 20th for Day of Service to clean the Garden! They pulled weeds and now the garden beds are ready to go! If you are able to donate any seedlings, please contact your teacher. We will be planting soon!
Please read your child's teachers newsletter for all the latest happenings at Leawood.
All library books are due by Thursday May 11th. Please help your student find and return all of their library books by this date. We will send home overdue notices in Friday Folders. Any books not turned in will accrue a replacement fee which will be added to your student’s Infinite Campus account. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
All Leawood students will bring their Chromebooks home to use during the Summer. For more information about summer Chromebooks click HERE.

5th graders celebrated the end of their morphology unit by embracing Greek culture and sharing their knowledge with the rest of the school. Thank you to our wonderful parents who cooked food for us and created costumes to make our day more authentic.
Principal and/or teachers do not take parent requests for specific classroom teacher assignments. We will, however, consider specific student needs and styles, and friendships
Each classroom will be balanced with student achievement, gender, leadership, and behaviors.
Students who consistently demonstrate that they cannot get along socially will be separated.
The number of students in each classroom will be as equal as possible. New students will be evenly distributed among classes as they enroll.
