As we move into the new year, we just wanted to remind everyone that we are still collecting PopTops. We will be collecting them monthly from each class until the beginning of May. Keep collecting those Pop Tops!
The Leawood AMP team would like to host an Art, Music, P.E. enrichment session where we will showcase what we do here at Leawood during their AMP time on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 1:45-2:30pm. We believe that the students here at Leawood experience JOY and grow their CONFIDENCE through our specialized contents. This 45-minute session will allow you and your little learners time to create, sing, and play with them in 15-minute rotations.
Adults, please sign up next to your student on this Google Doc. Please refer to this document for your groups and rotation times. We plan on finalizing this by Wednesday, January 22nd at 4pm.
Thank you for your support of Art, Music, and PE at Leawood Elementary!

You will also have the option to contribute to our school's yearbook donation program - to cover costs of the students in Yearbook Club and also for students who cannot afford one. Thank you!
If you have any photos from school events that you'd like to contribute to our yearbook, you may submit them through this link and Yearbook Club will decide if we can use them! We are specifically looking for photos from the following events: Halloween Parade, Halloween Parties, Veteran's Day, Leawood Fun Run, Spirit Days, Track, Cheerleading.
Leawood is participating in a food drive called Grub Club from December - March 8th. We are collecting Cheese and Cracker Packets for homeless and emancipated Jefferson County high school students. We are hoping to collect 6,500 Cheese and Cracker Packets. Please help us if you can! All donations will be greatly appreciated.
Collection boxes will be in the front lobby here at Leawood, but you can drop them off at any other Columbine area school if that is more convenient. Students may bring one (or more) donation items anytime between now and March!

Thank you for your generous contributions to our annual Giving Tree! Together, we helped a number of Leawood families have a brighter holiday season. We are so fortunate to have such a giving community and appreciate the wish list items, winter clothing, and gift cards that were donated.
