Students are allowed to arrive as early as 8:55am for our soft start.  School starts at 9:05am and the tardy bell rings at 9:10am. Students are not allowed to be unattended on school grounds prior to 8:55am.  If your student would like to come for our breakfast program, they can arrive at 8:40am.   If your child will be arriving after the tardy bell, they will need to be signed in at the front office.  There will be no access from any outside teacher doors.

If you need to call your student in absent or late, please call the attendance line (24 hour access) 303-982-7813.

The office hours are 8:30am-4:00pm.  Please keep in mind that there will be no access to the building outside of these hours.

Visitors to Leawood

If you would like to volunteer to help in your student's classroom or would like to come and have lunch with your child, you will have to sign in at the front office and get a visitor's badge.  If you are dropping your student off in the morning at the start of the day, you may wait with your child outside of their respective classroom doors.  Due to our district security guidelines, you are not allowed to walk your child to their classrooms INSIDE at the start of the day .  If you need to talk to your student's teacher, please schedule an appointment with him/her.  In addition, when school dismisses at 3:45, your student will exit the school outside of the same classroom doors.  We ask that you wait for your student to be dismissed.

Emergency Contact Numbers

In order to receive all communication from the school during the school year, and any districts news, we need to have the correct phone numbers and email addresses in Jeffco Connect. It is important not to block or unsubscribe messages that come from either the school or district or you will not receive communications about upcoming news, school events or important crisis information. Please make sure you have access to your Jeffco Connect account throughout the school year.  If you ever need help with your account or password re-set, please call the office for assistance.

From the Financial Office

Please go into Jeffco Connect to review and pay for your student's fees.  If you are planning on completing the Application For Free/Reduced Lunch, please do it as soon as possible. Please note that all F/R information must be updated on a yearly basis. Those who qualify for Free & Reduced assistance will have breakfast, lunch, bus and all of the other school fees waived.

A written Medication Permission Form must be signed and submitted by the parent/guardian AND signed by a health care provider for all prescription, nonprescription, and herbal medication to be administered or self-administered at school. Families shall be responsible for providing all medication to be administered to the student. These new medical forms are located on our website under the Family Resources link (Documents), as well as on our parent information rack.

The Health room is in need of girl/boy clothing, especially new underwear, pants ranging in sizes XXS-M and socks.
