APRIL 2024 From our District and Community

Jeffco Public Website

Columbine Day of Service

You’re invited to join the Columbine High School community in taking part in the upcoming annual Day of Service on Saturday, April 20. Declared a day of service and recommitment for all Coloradans by Governor Polis in 2019, April 20 is now an opportunity to make a positive impact with anything from large, organized projects in the community to small acts of kindness. Visit the Columbine Day of Service website for various acts of service ideas to do in your own community. You can also support the Columbine community by purchasing a 2024 Columbine Day of Service shirt, available HERE. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Columbine Memorial Fund

Join a Jeffco Alliance Subcommittee

The Jeffco Alliance is a group of parents, community members, students and #TeamJeffco staff who gather to provide critical feedback on the school district’s strategic direction. All Jeffco residents are welcomed and encouraged to participate when the Alliance gathers.

There is one final meeting this spring on Tuesday, April 9 from 6 p.m.–7:30 p.m. at the Jeffco Education Center. At this meeting, each subcommittee will present their final recommendations and insights to Superintendent Dorland.
