I hope this finds you well rested, refreshed, and filled with special memories of your summer. I am always excited when our school year is just around the corner. Before we know it, these halls will be filled with laughter and learning. As always, our custodial crew, led by our Facilities Manager Steve Sarine, did an amazing job getting the building spic and span and ready for another year.
Thanks to our office staff who managed to work through all the Jeffco Connect issues last week during registration. If you still have not confirmed that your student will be returning to Leawood by completing the Jeffco Connect process, Kathy sent you another email on Friday.

This will be an exciting year for our 5th and 6th graders as they will both be transitioning to Ken Caryl next year. We will have lots of information and a Ken Caryl Open House coming soon. For more information about the 6th grade transition, click HERE

Friday, August 11th – PTSA End of Summer Pool Party at Columbine Knolls Pool, 4:00-7:00 pm. Entry fee is $3. Stop by our table for a special treat and a coupon from Dairy Queen.

Friday, August 24th & Monday, August 27th – Modified Attendance Day for testing: School by appointment only. Please be sure to look for signupgenius. All students expected to come for a testing time on one of these 2 days.
