Thank you for your generous support of our Scholastic Book Fair. We had a very successful fair with over $8700 in sales! We will use the proceeds to purchase new books for our school library. It was great to see so many families at the fair and we really appreciate your support!
There are various ways that we actively work to keep our students safe when using technology in Jeffco Public Schools. The digital citizenship curriculum from Common Sense Education is one of the tools we use to educate our students on how to stay safe, responsible, and respectful when they are online. Keeping our kids safe is a team effort, and we need to have a partnership with families to do this.
One of the ways YOU can help to keep your children safe when using their district-provided devices at home is by utilizing the Securly Home app. This is a free app to download to your phone, and within the app you can do things such as: view an activity feed/record of all websites your child visits; set rules such as allow/block website lists or removing access to specific categories of websites; and set offline schedules so that the student’s device will not work during specific timeframes of your setting (or even pause the internet on their devices).
The Tech Department has shared this updated Securly Home for Families presentation (slide deck also embedded below) to give you all the info you need to set up your account.
Please reach out to Mrs. Leslie Rains, Digital Teacher Librarian, if you have any questions or need support.
Track meet - Tuesday, October 21 at the JeffCo Stadium.
The bus only takes us there at 9:15. ALL students must get picked up from there at 2:30 or make arrangements to carpool.
We will be sending out another sheet to confirm how students will be getting home. Look for that coming soon.
Parents who have signed up to volunteer, please be on the lookout for more information coming soon! We appreciate your help.
Reach out to Mr. Koehler, Jeffrey.Koehler@jeffco.k12.co.us with any questions.
