Support School Funding on October Count Day!
It's official - October Count Day this year is Wednesday, October 1!
The most important action you can take to support school funding is to make sure your student attends school on that day. Much of public education funding from the Colorado
Department of Education is based on student count, so we encourage you to make sure your student comes to school that day.

Community Dyslexia Awareness Event - Flyer
Who: This event is designed for all parents and guardians who want to learn more about dyslexia, the screener, and the resources available within our community.
When: October 14th, 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM
Where: Jeffco Ed Center Board Room
What: As we prepare for the Dyslexia Screener, we want to invite our community to learn more about how we're supporting all students. This is a great opportunity for families to:
Experience the same Dyslexia 101 training that Jeffco staff has participated in to gain empathy and insight.
Hear from experts at the Jeffco Public Library about new, dyslexia-friendly resources available to your family.
Learn about the supports and advocacy available through JeffcoKID, a local group for families of students with dyslexia.
Enjoy some snacks and connect with other families! 🍎
