Dear Leawood Families,
In November, our Habit of the Month is Gratitude. With that said, I want to take a moment to express our gratitude for the incredible turnout at our Halloween parade and parties. It was so much fun seeing all the creative costumes and the excitement on our students' faces. A special thank you to all the families who donated treats for the parties or helped organize the classroom activities. I hope everyone was able to get some good pictures of the students on stage for the costume fashion show. Your participation in all these capacities made Halloween even more special!
Gratitude not only reminds us of all the good in our lives but can also help students to be more physically, socially, and psychologically healthy. Additionally, practicing gratitude helps students improve their mood and supports them in being more kind and helpful towards others.
Please feel free to use the resources below and talk to your children about gratitude.
