A Message from Superintendent Tracy Dorland
Spring is officially here and we are focused on a strong finish to the year! Last week, more than 1,100 of our extraordinary students, staff and community members engaged in service projects across our community during the 7th Annual Columbine Day of Service. Declared a day of service and recommitment for all Coloradans by Governor Polis in 2019, it was a powerful experience to watch students in action – planting trees, making blankets for patients at local hospitals and doing yard work for senior citizens. Our Jeffco community came together and worked alongside each other on the day of remembrance. READ MORE
Jeffco Food & Nutrition Services
As part of Proposition FF passing in November 2022, Healthy Meals for All will go into effect for the 2023-24 school year. This has caused some confusion for families who believe that this program has been implemented for the 2022-23 school year and are unaware that their student(s) is accruing meal debt. Food & Nutrition Services will never deny a healthy meal to a student who comes through the line, even if they come through without any funds to cover the cost of the meal.
If your family has current school meal debt, payment toward account balances can be made online through School Cafe, or with a check made out to Jeffco School Food and can be delivered directly to the kitchen manager at your student’s school.
The Jeffco Food & Nutrition Services team is available to discuss concerns about your student’s negative account balance and can work with you on a payment plan.

Charter school families should connect with their student's school to learn more.
