Psst! We're moving!
Jiang Chuan fastened the clasp at her back, then lowered his hand to cup her breast, leaning close to whisper in her ear: “Still hurt?”
Qin Tang: “It’s fine.” After a brief pause, she added, “Hurry and help me fasten it.”
But there was no movement behind her. Instead, he gently nibbled on her earlobe, sending a wave of tingling sensations through her body. Jiang Chuan wrapped his arms around her, kissing her cheek and neck from behind. His hand slipped into her loosely hanging bra, cupping her soft, white breast.
“I want to go downstairs for breakfast…” Qin Tang half-closed her eyes, tilting her head back, her neck flushing pink.
Jiang Chuan turned her chin to the side and kissed her lips deeply. “Mm, just a moment.”
His hand moved lower, brushing against her inner thigh. Qin Tang melted in his arms, barely able to stand.
Jiang Chuan felt the dampness between her legs and gazed down at her intently. Her cheeks were flushed red, her eyes wet and hazy, her expression completely submissive to his will.
Jiang Chuan lifted her in his arms, took a large step toward the bed, and pressed her down onto it. The sound of his belt unbuckling reached her ears, causing her to tremble slightly.
Just then, the sound of a tricycle driving into the courtyard echoed through the air.
Xiaocheng called out: “Aqi, come help!”
Aqi: “Coming, just a moment!”
Xiaobai: “I’ll help too.”
...
Jiang Chuan pushed her legs higher, and Qin Tang clung tightly to his neck, panting softly into his ear.
At the moment of entry, Jiang Chuan sealed her lips with his own, swallowing the sound that was about to escape from her throat. After a while, he pulled away from her lips and whispered into her ear: “Shh, the soundproofing isn’t good.”
Qin Tang’s breathing grew heavier, her face flushed, her eyes half-closed as she furrowed her brows deeply, biting her lip to suppress any noise.
Yet, he seemed to tease her deliberately, each thrust more forceful than the last. Unable to hold back, Qin Tang bit down hard on his shoulder.
...
In the end, Jiang Chuan brushed aside the stray strands of hair clinging to her forehead and rolled to the side, pulling her limp body into his arms from behind.
Qin Tang had no strength left, like a newborn kitten, quietly nestled against his chest.
Jiang Chuan pressed his lips to the nape of her neck. His breath was hot and damp, tinged with the scent of tobacco, brushing against her ear and making it itch faintly.
Qin Tang squinted her eyes and murmured softly: “You don’t want to let me go.”
All of his emotions had been revealed in their passionate encounter just moments ago. No matter how reluctant he was, there was nothing to be done—she had to leave eventually.
Jiang Chuan paused for half a second and replied: “Mm, it hasn’t even been a few days yet.”
Qin Tang turned around and hugged him tightly, looking up at him. “You were like you wanted to tear me apart just now.”
Jiang Chuan’s dark eyes softened slightly, and he chuckled.
She nestled against his chest, her calves entwined with his legs, her arms wrapped tightly around his waist.
They embraced quietly for a moment before Jiang Chuan propped himself up halfway. “Are you hungry?”
“I’ve been starving for a while,” she said, frowning.
Jiang Chuan got up, tidied himself, and then helped her dress, carefully fastening the clasp of her bra.
Once dressed, Qin Tang stepped off the bed, her legs still weak and trembling slightly.
Jiang Chuan stood in front of her, looking down at her. “I’ll wait for you downstairs.”
“Mm.”
After he left the room, Qin Tang ran her fingers through her hair, rested briefly, and then picked up her washbasin to freshen up.
When Qin Tang returned with her basin, she bumped into Lu Sha, who was dragging her suitcase out of her room. The two exchanged an emotionless glance. Qin Tang asked indifferently: “Leaving?”
Lu Sha smiled faintly. “Mm, what about you? When are you leaving?”
Qin Tang replied: “I’m not sure. Jiang Chuan booked my flight.”
Lu Sha tightened her grip on the suitcase handle, her smile unwavering. “In that case, I’ll take my leave first.”
Qin Tang: “Goodbye.”
“Goodbye.”
Qin Tang went back into the room and closed the door. From downstairs, she could faintly hear their voices. Xiaocheng said: “Sister Lu Sha, come visit again when you have time.”
Aqi echoed the same sentiment.
Lu Sha said: “Brother Jiang, it’s hard to get a taxi here. Do you have time to drop me off to meet my colleagues?”
Qin Tang opened the door slightly, and Jiang Chuan’s reply came clearly: “No time. Have Xiaocheng take you.”
Xiaocheng: “Alright!”
Lu Sha fell silent for a few seconds before laughing lightly. “That works too.”
Qin Tang raised an eyebrow subtly and descended the stairs with light steps.
Jiang Chuan handed the car keys to Xiaocheng and instructed him: “Don’t wander off. Drop her off and come straight back.”
Xiaocheng nodded. “Got it. Are you going to use the car later, Brother Jiang?”
“Mm.” Jiang Chuan turned his head and saw Qin Tang emerging from around the corner.
He would be taking her to the airport in the afternoon.
Aqi asked: “Sister Lu Sha, Aunt Gui is preparing lunch. Won’t you stay and eat before leaving?”
Lu Sha replied indifferently: “No, I’ve already made plans to eat with my colleagues.”
Xiaocheng helped her load her suitcase into the car. Aqi and Xiaobai followed them to the vehicle, watching as Lu Sha got in. Once Xiaocheng reversed the car, the two girls waved goodbye, inviting her to visit again when she had time.
The car quickly drove out of the courtyard, kicking up a cloud of dust.
Heihu ran to Qin Tang’s side, and she bent down to pet him. Jiang Chuan took her hand. “Let’s go eat something first.”
Qin Tang blinked in surprise. “Isn’t lunch not ready yet?”
Jiang Chuan gazed at her.
“I bought you some cold noodles.”
This departure—there was no telling when they’d see each other again.
Qin Tang understood perfectly well and lowered her head. “Alright.”
The food was served. Qin Tang ate half of her cold noodles while Jiang Chuan fed Heihu in the courtyard. Heihu stood by his side, gently wagging its tail. Jiang Chuan crouched down to stroke its head. His profile was rugged and handsome, with high cheekbones, deep-set eyes, and a firm jawline. His lips were neither too thin nor too thick, pressed tightly together.
Qin Tang recalled the photo on his ID card—the younger Jiang Chuan.
Back then, he had an air of righteousness about him.
Now, Jiang Chuan seemed to have been shaped by life’s hardships, his edges sharpened rather than dulled, exuding a kind of fatal attraction.
Lost in thought, she was startled when Jiang Chuan returned from washing his hands and approached her, eyeing the remaining half bowl of cold noodles. “Not eating anymore?”
Qin Tang snapped back to reality, stirring her noodles with her chopsticks. “Yes, I’m still eating.”
Jiang Chuan sat beside her. “If you’re not eating this, have some rice instead.”
Qin Tang: “Mm, I’ll eat some rice too.”
Jiang Chuan smirked, raising one corner of his mouth. “You should eat more.”
Aqi brought over the bowls and chopsticks. Lü An arrived just in time, drenched in sweat, and sat down across from them. “I’m starving to death.”
Xiaobai served him a bowl of white rice. “Here you go, Brother Lü.”
Lü An glanced at her. “When are you and Xu Peng leaving?”
Xiaobai smiled. “The day after tomorrow. Our school is in Xi’an, so it won’t take long to get back.”
Xu Peng, who rarely spoke, added: “Yeah, we can take two buses to get there.”
“How long does it take by bus?”
“Including waiting time, it might take over two hours.”
Lü An nodded. “Still quite far. I’ll drive you back then.”
Xiaobai’s eyes widened. “Really?”
Lü An chuckled. “Do you think I’d lie about that?”
Xiaobai grinned sweetly. “Thank you, Brother Lü.”
“Eat your meal.”
Jiang Chuan placed a piece of fish onto Qin Tang’s plate. She ate it and then picked up another piece herself.
Lü An asked: “Qin Tang, what time is your flight?”
Qin Tang paused her chopsticks, looked up at Jiang Chuan, and he said: “Four o’clock in the afternoon.”
“Then we need to get ready to leave after lunch,” Lü An glanced toward the courtyard. “Where’s the car?”
Aqi replied: “Xiaocheng went to drop off Sister Lu Sha. He might take another half hour to return.”
Qin Tang set down her chopsticks. “I’m full. You all eat slowly.”
