Psst! We're moving!
The two of them had stayed up all night watching movies and slept in until noon.
For Jae-hyuk, it had been years since he’d slept in this late. Hee-soo woke up first, opened the window, and welcomed the second day with Jae-hyuk.
The sky was a vivid blue, as if someone had spilled paint everywhere, and white clouds floated like strokes of white crayon.
Hee-soo closed her eyes for a moment, savoring the sea breeze blowing in from the beach, then slowly opened them.
The Mediterranean morning sparkled with the sea shimmering all the way to the horizon, glistening with sunlight.
If someone asked when the happiest moment of her life had been, today would undoubtedly be one of those days.
Last night, while watching the movie, she had cried so much. Holding Jae-hyuk’s hand, she had poured out all her stories and sobbed uncontrollably.
As she passed by the vanity, she caught a glimpse of her face and noticed her eyelids were swollen.
But even though her face was a mess, her heart felt as light as a feather.
It was probably the relief of having shared everything with Jae-hyuk. It felt like the shadows of the past no longer loomed over her heart.
Of course, just because she had told Jae-hyuk about her past, it didn’t mean the memories of those difficult times had disappeared.
But having someone listen to those stories and empathize with her pain made her feel like something that had been tightening her heart had finally loosened.
Hee-soo put on the silk robe she had left near the bed, washed her face, brushed her teeth, and then returned to bed. Jae-hyuk was still fast asleep. Hee-soo lay down beside him, propping her chin on her hand, and watched Jae-hyuk sleep, waiting for him to wake up.
The sound of waves crashing in the distance could be heard.
Even though she had slept a lot, an indescribable drowsiness washed over her, and before she knew it, Hee-soo dozed off.
“…Hee-soo.”
Jae-hyuk’s soft voice called out, mingling with the sound of the waves, making it hard to tell if it was a dream or reality.
“Hee-soo.”
“Mmm.”
Hee-soo slowly opened her eyes to see Jae-hyuk smiling down at her. He must have woken up at some point. There was a faint scent of toothpaste and skincare products.
“When did you wake up?”
“Just now.”
Jae-hyuk lightly kissed Hee-soo’s cheek and whispered into her ear.
“I love you.”
There was something mischievous in Jae-hyuk’s eyes as he whispered sweet words. Hee-soo was about to ask why, but then she realized why Jae-hyuk was smiling.
“You’re not laughing because my eyes are swollen, are you?”
“No. I’m laughing because your puffy face is adorable.”
“What’s adorable about this?”
“You cried because you told me everything. Of course, it’s adorable.”
Jae-hyuk, who had been holding Hee-soo’s waist, pulled her closer. As a result, Hee-soo’s lower body pressed against Jae-hyuk’s.
“Oh.”
As soon as she felt the hot, firm curve between her thighs, Hee-soo looked up at Jae-hyuk in surprise. Jae-hyuk, who had just woken up, was already aroused.
“Let’s not go anywhere today. Let’s just stay in each other’s arms all day.”
“That sounds good.”
Hee-soo pressed her face against Jae-hyuk’s broad chest and spoke in a dreamy voice.
As long as she was with Jae-hyuk, nothing else mattered. They had been so busy lately that they had barely had any time alone together, and now that they finally did, Hee-soo didn’t want to let go.
As if responding to Hee-soo’s words, Jae-hyuk’s fingers traced her spine. His fingers slid over the smooth silk slip, sending shivers down Hee-soo’s body wherever they touched.
“Don’t tell me you’re starting this in the morning…”
Hee-soo let out a drowsy moan and twisted her waist as she asked. Instead of answering, Jae-hyuk pressed his lips against Hee-soo’s.
His tongue slipped inside, moistening and teasing the sensitive flesh. Jae-hyuk gently sucked Hee-soo’s lower lip before releasing it and finally answered with a long exhale.
“Yeah, starting in the morning…”
Jae-hyuk kissed along Hee-soo’s neckline, then bit the strap of the slip and tugged it slightly, pulling the fabric down. The smooth silk slid off Hee-soo’s body.
“I’m embarrassed.”
The room was brightly lit by the noon sun, and Hee-soo trembled with shyness.
Her erect nipples were too visible, and Hee-soo couldn’t bring herself to open her eyes and look directly at Jae-hyuk.
“Seeing you embarrassed like this is driving me crazy.”
Jae-hyuk seemed even more aroused by Hee-soo’s shyness, as the hardness between her thighs grew even more firm and heavy.
Unable to hold back, Jae-hyuk took one of Hee-soo’s nipples into his mouth.
“Ah…”
As Hee-soo let out a dizzying moan, a red mark appeared on her soft, pale skin. Jae-hyuk ravaged Hee-soo’s chest for a while before slowly moving his lips downward.
In the pouring sunlight, Hee-soo’s naked body glowed transparently.
Jae-hyuk held Hee-soo’s waist, kissed her navel, and then moved his face even lower.
“Ah, it’s too bright.”
Hee-soo tried to resist by closing her legs, but Jae-hyuk had already reached his sensitive spot and quickly licked his entrance.
“Hng!”
As Jae-hyuk’s tongue pushed into the parted red slit, Hee-soo covered her mouth with both hands and arched her back. Jae-hyuk knew exactly where to touch to drive Hee-soo wild.
His soft tongue gently probed Hee-soo’s lower body before pressing firmly against her swollen clit. Jae-hyuk held Hee-soo’s thighs down to keep her from closing her legs and savored her groin for a long time.
“Haa…”
Finally, when Hee-soo’s moans burst out uncontrollably and tears welled up in her eyes, Jae-hyuk lifted his head.
Hee-soo’s thighs were soaked with arousal, and the red entrance between them twitched, eagerly awaiting Jae-hyuk’s penetration.
“Hee-soo.”
Jae-hyuk called her name as he thrust into her.
“Mmm.”
Hee-soo’s voice was laced with soft moans as she responded.
Her body, accustomed to Jae-hyuk’s, tightened and relaxed in rhythm with his movements. Jae-hyuk, showing no signs of fatigue, seemed to have regained his energy overnight, thrusting into her with more vigor than ever before.
Her full, beautiful breasts moved in arcs, rising and falling.
Their bodies, moving in sync, gradually picked up speed, merging into one before reaching a feverish, intimate connection.
“Ah—” Hee-soo, who had been moaning loudly, soon found herself unable to make a sound, only gasping for breath.
For a while, the room was filled with nothing but the lewd sounds of skin against skin, no other noise reaching their ears.
The heated pillar of flesh plunged deep inside her before finally coming to a stop.
“Haa, Hee-soo. Hee-soo.”
Jae-hyuk, having reached his peak, pressed his body against hers and held her tightly.
“I love you.”
He buried his face in the nape of her neck and whispered.
“Me too.”
Hee-soo quietly replied and closed her eyes.
The languidness after lovemaking and the lingering excitement spread through her body. Listening to the distant sound of waves, Hee-soo thought there could be no greater happiness than this.
After making love several more times, Jae-hyuk and Hee-soo finally got out of bed.
By the time they left the room, it was nearing evening. The two enjoyed a meal at a nearby restaurant Jae-hyuk had reserved, then took a slow walk along the beach before returning to the hotel.
“Hee-soo.”
Jae-hyuk, who had been holding Hee-soo’s hand as they walked, suddenly stopped and looked down at her.
“You know, I’ll wait until you’re ready.”
“Huh?”
Caught off guard by Jae-hyuk’s words, Hee-soo blinked.
“Actually, I came here planning to propose. But after arriving, I realized you still seem to enjoy working more than anything else. And, well, getting married might limit your choices for roles.”
“……”
Hee-soo looked down at Jae-hyuk’s hand, which was tightly holding hers.
She had never doubted that Jae-hyuk would be part of her future. But it was also true that she was thoroughly enjoying her career, having just successfully returned to acting.
The success of her comeback project, My Hateful Darling, and the projects she filmed afterward had all been hits.
At the peak of her career, Hee-soo was enjoying unprecedented fame.
Jae-hyuk looked down at her and continued.
“I’d love to keep you by my side every day, to see you morning and night, but more than fulfilling my own desires, I want to let you do what you love.”
“Ah…”
“But I still want to give you this.”
Jae-hyuk rummaged through his jacket pocket and pulled out a small, square box.
Though small, the box was elegantly finished, and Hee-soo had a feeling she knew what Jae-hyuk was about to say.
“Hee-soo.”
Jae-hyuk called her name softly and opened the box. Inside was a dazzling ring with a large stone.
“I love you. And I’ll always wait for you. Until you’re ready.”
Jae-hyuk took the ring out of the box and slipped it onto Hee-soo’s finger.
“The reason I’m giving this to you now is to show you that my heart already belongs to you. So, just keep it. I’m grateful for that alone.”
Hee-soo stared at the ring on her finger for a long time before looking up.
“Thank you.”
The breeze tickled her cheeks as it passed by.
She remembered another day, long ago, when she and Jae-hyuk had stood facing each other like this by the sea. Back then, nothing had been resolved, and she had no expectations that anything ever would be.
She had cried, sending Jae-hyuk away, and he had looked at her with red, resentful eyes.
Back then, she could never have imagined a future like this.
“Thank you so much.”
Hee-soo brushed away the tears at the corners of her eyes and threw herself into Jae-hyuk’s arms.
“I love you, Hee-soo.”
Listening to Jae-hyuk’s soft whisper, Hee-soo held him and stood by the sea for a long time. It was a day of complete and utter happiness.
