Psst! We're moving!
“Dinner?”
When Suhyun repeated the question, Se-Young straightened her back and took another step closer.
“Yes. We haven’t seen each other in so long, and all we’ve done is work… We haven’t had a proper conversation yet.”
The fingertips that had been circling the buttons of her blouse gently tugged at the fabric. The flowing blouse shifted with her movements, and with a soft click , the top button came undone.
“Is that so?”
Pretending not to notice, Suhyun gave her an opening. Seeing her chance, Se-Young moved even closer and leaned diagonally on his desk. The tight-fitting skirt she wore rode up as she positioned herself.
The skirt itself was far too short for an ordinary employee. It rose dangerously high, almost exposing her underwear, but Se-Young didn’t flinch, maintaining steady eye contact with Suhyun.
“Do you have any idea how much I missed you while I was studying abroad?”
Encouraged by Suhyun’s lack of resistance, Se-Young undid another button. The silk blouse parted further, revealing a deep cleavage.
Like an animal in heat unable to contain itself, Se-Young twisted her body sinuously atop Suhyun’s desk.
“Se-Young, did Chairwoman Park say something to you?”
“Huh? Chairwoman Park?”
“Yes. The one who assigned you here.”
“Oh, Oppa. Don’t misunderstand my feelings.”
Se-Young slid off the desk and positioned herself between Suhyun’s legs, lifting her skirt slightly. Her underwear was barely concealed as she held the hem of her skirt with one hand while undoing another button of her blouse with the other.
“You know how much I’ve liked you since I was little, Oppa.”
“I see.”
Suhyun gazed at Se-Young, who was blatantly seducing him, with an indifferent expression.
Watching her strip and writhe before him stirred old memories—memories from before she left for her studies abroad.
‘Oppa.’
It was a night when he stayed over at the main house, and someone had slipped into his bed. Startled by the unfamiliar presence, Suhyun kicked out instinctively.
“Kyaa!”
Grabbing his phone, he turned on the light to find Im Se-Young sprawled awkwardly on the floor, wearing nothing but her underwear.
“What do you think you’re doing?”
“I wanted to sleep next to you.”
“Are you crazy? Get out.”
After fleeing the room in a panic, Se-Young deeply apologized to Suhyun the next day. She confessed that she had acted impulsively because she was leaving for abroad soon and wouldn’t see him for years.
Suhyun, who already knew that Se-Young flirted with all her cousins, didn’t bother arguing with her. She was one of those women he found utterly tiresome to deal with.
Years had passed since then—had Se-Young really forgotten?
Her audacity was unmatched. How dare she perform this snake dance in front of him after just starting work?
Se-Young, who had lived in Woo-Sik’s quarters at the main house since childhood alongside Taesung’s children, was well-known for clinging to the conglomerate like a leech. That Park Yoon-Hwa had taken in both Woo-Sik and his granddaughter made Suhyun question the chairwoman’s true intentions.
What Suhyun knew was that Se-Young hadn’t spared any of her cousins from her advances. Though he didn’t know whom she’d slept with, her ultimate goal was clear: to secure a place in a chaebol family by latching onto anyone from Taesung.
Se-Young never hid her ambitions. In that sense, she was easy to read.
“Se-Young.”
Suhyun smirked as he looked at her. The hem of her skirt, lifted higher and higher, now exposed her groin completely.
“Yes, Oppa.”
Se-Young’s hand moved to her shoulder, slipping off one side of her blouse. The fabric slid down, revealing her bare shoulder.
“Did you develop amnesia, Se-Young?”
“Huh?”
“You tried this once before and got kicked out of my bed.”
At Suhyun’s words, Se-Young’s smile vanished. Her eyes darted around nervously, realizing her miscalculation.
“If you’re going to seduce someone, choose your target wisely. No matter what you do, it doesn’t turn me on.”
“T-that…”
Se-Young’s gaze finally dropped to Suhyun’s crotch. The flatness of his pants told her everything she needed to know.
Despite her voluptuous figure—ample breasts and a slender waist—her natural assets did nothing to entice Suhyun.
“Let’s see.”
Pushing Se-Young away, Suhyun stood up.
“There’s CCTV in this space. Whether you came in as a secretary or a snake… others will judge accordingly.”
“O-Oppa!”
“Address me properly. I’ve never been your oppa.”
“…Ah.”
With trembling hands, Se-Young hastily pulled down her skirt. Her face flushed with embarrassment as she adjusted her clothes.
“You may have parachuted in, but if you leave, it won’t be gentle. Your performance reviews will be thorough. Survive if you want to.”
“Yes, CEO.”
Se-Young bowed her head deeply, answering weakly.
“If you cause any scandal, you’ll be thrown out immediately. Conduct yourself carefully.”
“Yes.”
“I don’t care what you do with your body, but I won’t tolerate you sullying my territory.”
“Understood.”
“Leave.”
As Se-Young turned to leave, faint sobs could be heard, but Suhyun offered no comfort. His reprimand was as cold and detached as if addressing a subordinate for the first time.
Click.
Closing the door behind her, Se-Young returned to the secretary’s desk outside the office. The workspace was eerily quiet after hours.
“Not an easy man to please.”
There was no trace of shame or embarrassment on Se-Young’s face as she sat down. From the start, she had always been willing to do whatever it took to achieve her goals, without guilt or hesitation. Her earlier display of modesty before Suhyun was merely an act.
“This sparks my fighting spirit.”
Surveying the empty office, Se-Young tidied her desk with an unaffected expression.

After Se-Young left the office, Suhyun sighed repeatedly for a while.
The filthy feeling lingered, making it impossible to focus on work. As he checked his phone notifications, his fingers naturally landed on Hae-in’s last message.
[Sunbae. Are you late again today? I have something to say. I’ll wait for you with a delicious meal.]
Though similar in content, Hae-in always varied her wording, likely trying to signal that she cared.
Attached to the message was a beautifully photographed picture of the food. Her photography skills—and the dishes themselves—were improving daily. Despite Suhyun never tasting or acknowledging them, Hae-in persisted in her efforts.
She was nothing like Se-Young, who had brazenly flaunted her desires moments ago.
“If it were Im Se-Young, she’d probably strip in front of the door every day, whether I liked it or not.”
In this greedy world full of scheming, perhaps Hae-in was the only one who remained genuine, pouring her heart into everything without ulterior motives. Even as he pushed her away and treated her harshly, she stayed steadfast, always waiting.
Her meals were imbued with sincerity, and her messages overflowed with affection.
Thinking again of Se-Young rubbing against him, Suhyun shook his head and stood up. Seeing Hae-in’s face tonight might dispel this unpleasant feeling.
Even if it was only for five minutes.
Suhyun abruptly rose from his seat. It was a rare early departure.

Beep.
Opening the front door, he found the interior dark.
Assuming she had already gone to bed despite promising to wait, Suhyun checked the time. It was 9 p.m.
This was unusual, as Hae-in typically kept the lights on until the early hours, waiting for him. She had even replied to his message on the way home.
[What do you want to say?]
[It’s a bit long. Let’s talk face-to-face.]
‘She said she had something to say, but fell asleep already?’
Remembering how Hae-in would drift off the moment her head hit the wall, Suhyun chuckled bitterly. Despite his attempts to remain detached, living together inevitably revealed certain things about her.
For instance, she fell into deep sleep unexpectedly when tired, or her earlobes turned bright red when flustered. She always left the toothpaste cap open but neatly folded her clothes. These small details seeped into his awareness unbidden.
“No matter how hard I try not to care, her presence still catches my eye.”
“Hmm…?”
Moving further inside, he noticed candles decorating the path from the living room to the staircase leading to the bedroom. Petals were scattered across the floor, and a subtle fragrance filled the air.
“What is this nonsense?”
The dining table, usually set with a tidy dinner, was empty.
Following the candles, Suhyun ascended the stairs.
The flickering lights led sporadically to the bedroom. Passing through the dancing shadows, he pushed the slightly ajar door fully open and stepped inside.
The room was softly lit by indirect lighting. On the bed sat Hae-in, clad in lingerie far more revealing than usual.
“Sunbae.”
Hae-in rose from her seat, draped in a sheer gown that left little to the imagination. Her round, pale breasts were clearly visible beneath the thin fabric.
Below her slim waist, a tiny scrap of cloth barely covered her lower half.
“You said you had something to say.”
Though his voice was calm, seeing his wife dressed so provocatively sent a rush of heat to his face.
“Sunbae, I’m done trying to be the kind of wife you hate.”
“Wife role?”
Suhyun’s brow furrowed slightly as he tried to gauge her intentions.
“…So let’s just have sex.”
Unperturbed by his curt response, Hae-in approached him with a faint smile. Her delicate body pressed close against his.
