Psst! We're moving!
Longing
The time when the sun falls beneath the buildings. Jae-hee stretched her arms after chatting with Hyo-jeong.
That morning, Hyo-jeong had shown up unexpectedly. It was a public holiday sandwiched between the weekend, and she had come up saying she wanted to see her sister.
“Sis! Where should I go? What’s the address of your new place?”
At Hyo-jeong’s bright and cheerful question, Jae-hee immediately invited her over. Since it was something she would have to explain eventually, she decided to share her situation today. She planned to package the adult complexities—becoming a casual partner or the impending arranged marriage—in a way that was as neat and pleasant as possible.
Over warm tea, Jae-hee carefully explained everything to Hyo-jeong. She had met Executive Director Kang-joo. Somehow, they had ended up living together. And now, talks of marriage had come up. Of course, given the nature of his family, it was still uncertain whether the marriage would actually happen.
“…Hyo-jeong, so your sister is, um… planning to marry Kang-joo…”
Just as she was about to finish the sentence, her phone began to ring.
“Go ahead and answer it, Sis.”
Nodding, Jae-hee picked up her phone.
“Yes, Director.”
“Wrong.”
A sudden, unexpected denial came through the line.
“Pardon?”
“You can’t keep addressing me like that.”
A gentle rebuke floated through the phone.
Jae-hee, belatedly understanding his words, let out an “Ah” and lowered her voice as she replied quietly.
“Ah, yes, Kang-joo. Sorry, I’m not used to it yet.”
On the other end, Kang-joo let out a small chuckle. That soft laughter tickled her heart enough to make Jae-hee’s cheeks lift unconsciously. She quickly worked to suppress her expression.
“What’s the matter?”
“I just saw the text about Hyo-jeong coming over.”
“Oh… that’s because you said before that it was fine to bring her anytime…”
Was it just a polite remark when he’d said she could bring Hyo-jeong over whenever? Should she take Hyo-jeong somewhere else now? As doubt clouded her mind and she murmured awkwardly in response, Kang-joo’s light-hearted voice cut in, undisturbed.
“I called to ask what I should bring for dinner. Ask Hyo-jeong what she wants to eat, and I’ll pick it up now.”
“….”
For a moment, something rippled inside Jae-hee’s heart. She couldn’t quite identify what it was. It was like a magical sensation that softened the tension she had been holding. Though their relationship was just contractual, Kang-joo’s genuine consideration made her heart melt.
But she couldn’t let it happen. She couldn’t allow herself to crumble like this.
Regaining her composure, Jae-hee turned to Hyo-jeong and asked, “Hyo-jeong, is there anything you’d like to eat for dinner?”
“Chicken! Half spicy, half fried.”
“….”
Chicken. Jae-hee had only ever ordered refined meals from nearby Korean or Chinese restaurants when dining with Kang-joo. She had never tried asking for something like chicken. Could she even ask him to bring that?
Hesitating, Jae-hee put the phone back to her ear. Before she could cautiously request chicken, Kang-joo preemptively spoke, likely having overheard Hyo-jeong’s voice.
“I’ll bring chicken and something for Jae-hee to eat, too. Since you like Korean food.”
“Oh, okay…”
His affectionate tone, as though they were real lovers, made her heart flutter with a strange delusion. As she blankly responded, Kang-joo said someone had arrived, bade her goodbye, and ended the call.
“Is it Kang-joo oppa?”
“…Yeah.”
After hearing the sudden half-truth about Jae-hee’s relationship with Kang-joo and their plans for marriage, Hyo-jeong, surprisingly, didn’t seem all that shocked. As Jae-hee fiddled with her phone after the call ended, she glanced up at Hyo-jeong. Her younger sister’s face was bright and cheerful as always.
“But, Hyo-jeong. You’re not surprised by what I said?”
“Of course I am—my sister’s getting married. But if it’s Kang-joo oppa, I feel reassured. Still, it does make me a little sad… like I’m losing my sister.”
Her reaction was much calmer than Jae-hee expected. She had anticipated an exclamation of “What?!” or some kind of disbelief, but instead, Hyo-jeong seemed almost indifferent, as though she had already come to terms with everything. This nonchalant response left Jae-hee more stunned than anything else.
“He’s the executive director—uh, I mean, Kang-joo. Aren’t you at least a little shocked?”
“Why would I be? I’ve thought for a while now that you and Kang-joo oppa were dating.”
“What? How? How did you know?!”
Jae-hee flinched, sitting upright on the sofa.
Lying on her side with her head propped up on one hand, Hyo-jeong smirked knowingly.
“You’d whisper on the phone at home, sneak out for overnight stays sometimes. And remember last Christmas? I saw Kang-joo oppa’s necktie on the hotel sofa.”
“…His necktie…”
“Isn’t it obvious? There’s no way Kang-joo oppa would suddenly take off his necktie without a reason.”
And it wasn’t just the necktie. He must’ve undone his buttons, maybe some other things too—probably everything. Hyo-jeong muttered this matter-of-factly, almost to herself, as if it were the most natural conclusion in the world.
Jae-hee’s face turned pale.
“Hyo-jeong… no, that’s not…”
“Sis, I’m an adult. I know everything I need to know. How did you manage to survive in this harsh world, being so naïve on your own?”
“….”
Faced with Hyo-jeong’s direct words and a light chuckle, Jae-hee shut her mouth tightly. Her once-pale face now flushed as though it were on fire.
An awkward silence followed. Hyo-jeong hummed a tune and read a book with her usual carefree expression, while Jae-hee sat stiffly beside her like a statue, quietly fretting.
She felt she should come up with some sort of explanation, but there wasn’t anything to explain—it was all true. Besides, too much time had already passed to backtrack. If she were going to explain, she should have done so earlier. It was a disaster.
When did my little sister grow up so much?
Just as Jae-hee continued to agonize in silence, the sound of the door opening echoed from the distance.
She didn’t need to look down the hallway to the front entrance to know who it was. Only one person had access to this place: the homeowner, Cha Kang-joo.
Hyo-jeong got up and ran toward the figure who appeared at the end of the hallway.
“Chicken’s here!”
Kang-joo gave Hyo-jeong a slight nod as she greeted him like a deliveryman, then set the chicken box and a set of gourmet lunchboxes on the kitchen counter one by one. Turning to Hyo-jeong in a tone that sounded like a big brother coming home from work, he said,
“Did you have fun? I’m going to take a quick shower, so you two eat first.”
“No way! We’ll eat together when you come back!”
Acknowledging this with a nod, Kang-joo loosened his tie and disappeared into the dressing room.
Oh? Of course, he starts with the tie before taking everything off. Makes sense.
Remembering the necktie she had found at the hotel, Hyo-jeong muttered this to herself mischievously before opening the chicken box to start preparing for dinner while Kang-joo was in the shower.
“Sis! Come over here! Half spicy, half fried chicken is here! And oppa brought gourmet lunchboxes too! They look amazing!”
“….”
At that moment, Jae-hee found herself lost in thought.
Who on earth did Hyo-jeong get her boldness and sociability from…?
Soon, the large dining table was laden with a full chicken and three gourmet lunchboxes.
Jae-hee chewed on a side dish while her gaze lingered on Kang-joo. From earlier, Hyo-jeong had been chattering nonstop about university life and dormitory stories—topics Kang-joo likely had no interest in—yet he listened without showing the slightest annoyance.
He nodded occasionally or responded with a gentle “I see.”
It feels just like the old days.
It was as if time had rewound, back to when Kang-joo, Jae-hee, and Hyo-jeong were much younger.
When Hyo-jeong, still a little girl, would prattle on, Kang-joo used to listen patiently with that same kind smile. It was a warm memory that had grown blurry, as if it belonged to a century ago.
Suddenly, Jae-hee’s heart ached. She couldn’t shake the thought that even his kindness might be a product of their contract. A reality that would vanish like a mirage once they both got what they wanted.
She instinctively sipped her cola. Kang-joo, noticing her glass was empty, casually refilled it and placed a piece of chicken on her plate. Jae-hee absentmindedly picked it up and took a bite.
Hyo-jeong raised an eyebrow, observing the scene.
“Oppa, I thought chaebols didn’t eat stuff like this—chicken or pizza.”
“My mother and sister don’t really eat them.”
“What about you?”
“I ate even worse things when I was in the U.S.”
Kang-joo replied with a lighthearted smile, and Hyo-jeong pursed her lips with an Oh, shrinking back slightly. After pondering for a moment, she carefully chose her words and asked, glancing at Kang-joo for his reaction.
Hyo-jeong tilted her head, curiosity written all over her face.
“Worse things? Then… have you ever tried drugs? You know, like cocaine or heroin? I hear a lot of chaebol third-generation kids do that on the news.”
“Hyo-jeong! What kind of question is that?”
Jae-hee scolded her, but Kang-joo simply chuckled and answered nonchalantly.
“I don’t do anything bad for my body.”
“Oh, thank goodness. You’ll need to be healthy if you’re planning to have kids.”
“Hyo-jeong!”
Startled, Jae-hee almost dropped her fork. Kang-joo steadied her tilting fork with a small laugh.
Later that evening, after hours of chatting in the living room, they finally moved to their respective rooms. Jae-hee had intended to have Hyo-jeong sleep in her room, but Kang-joo offered the living room bed to Hyo-jeong instead and entered the bedroom with Jae-hee.
“I’m really sorry about earlier. Hyo-jeong can be a bit… overly honest. She’s still young and doesn’t know any better…”
Jae-hee apologized to Kang-joo’s back as he stood by the window, looking out. She was referring to Hyo-jeong’s blunt comment earlier:
“You’ll need to be healthy if you’re planning to have kids.”
The direct and unreserved words of her younger sister. A girl who had just entered college had said something that even Jae-hee herself wouldn’t dare to say so easily.
Kids these days really are on another level—or maybe it’s because she’s still young. Once she grows older, she’ll probably look back on this and cringe under her blanket. Jae-hee consoled herself, trying to shake off the embarrassment.
Their marriage was a contract, a mutual agreement, but having children? That wasn’t part of the plan. She hadn’t even considered it, not even in her dreams. Surely, Kang-joo would recoil at the idea. She didn’t want to use pregnancy as a means to tie him down.
Pregnancy.
Just thinking about the word felt like exposing her innermost desires, a thought so embarrassing it made her cheeks burn.
Jae-hee, staring at Kang-joo’s broad back, cautiously sat on the edge of the bed. Although it was her room, it felt unfamiliar since she had never actually used it to sleep. The cool sheets under her were a strange sensation.
“It’s fine. She wasn’t wrong, after all.”
Kang-joo closed the blinds and walked toward the door. The soft click of the lock echoed as he turned it.
Walking back toward the bed, he unbuttoned his shirt and casually tossed it aside. Approaching Jae-hee, who sat frozen on the edge of the bed, he gently grabbed the back of her neck and began to kiss her without warning.
“W-Wait—Hyo-jeong is outside…”
Jae-hee, startled, tried to push him away, but his solid frame didn’t budge. Kang-joo’s lips followed hers, pressing insistently. He pushed her down onto the bed, his weight holding her in place. His tongue slipped between her slightly parted lips as she gasped in surprise.
Jae-hee weakly shook her head, her neck growing cold as goosebumps spread across her skin. She knew too well where this kiss was heading. It was never just a kiss.
Outside the bed, Kang-joo was always calm and gentlemanly. But in bed, he was different. He was raw, intense, and utterly driven by desire.
And with Hyo-jeong just outside the door… What if she overheard? Although the walls weren’t thin enough to let sound through easily, the mere thought of it made Jae-hee nervous. Hyo-jeong had already joked earlier about finding Kang-joo’s tie at the hotel and his “healthy seed.”
“Wait… umph…”
She should have stopped him, but the soft, searing press of his lips melted her resistance. Instead of pushing him away, her hand instinctively reached up to his chest. The heat radiating from his smooth skin beneath her palm made her heart race.
A familiar heat began to pool in her lower abdomen. She already knew the kind of pleasure that would come as he pinned her down with his weight.
Kang-joo, nibbling at her earlobe, whispered softly, “Raise your arms.”
As if under a spell, she obediently lifted her arms, allowing him to pull her shirt over her head. Her pajama bottoms quickly followed. Stripped down to her underwear, she finally managed to call his name.
“Wait, Kang-joo…!”
“Careful. If you say it too loud, Hyo-jeong will hear.”
He chuckled lightly, pressing her chest back down onto the bed as she tried to sit up.
Her bra unclasped and fell to the floor with a soft thud. Her freed skin shivered as it met the cool air. Her shoulders trembled, covered in goosebumps as his lips trailed along her collarbone.
He cupped her soft breasts with his large hands, his tongue gliding down her arm.
“Ah…”
Jae-hee stopped her attempt to push him away.
Kang-joo’s warm, teasing breath brushed against her shoulder, sending shivers down her skin. As his hot and chilling exhale caressed her, her nipples hardened. He continued to teasingly stroke her breasts, then gently slipped her panties off as well.
The small piece of fabric fell to the floor next to her bra.
Kang-joo’s tongue trailed slowly downward. Gathering both of her breasts in his large hands, he leaned in and took both nipples into his mouth simultaneously. Like a greedy child, he sucked on them, tugging at both tips at the same time. His tongue flicked and teased the sensitive peaks, his teeth lightly nibbling on the tips where they met.
“Ah…!”
Jae-hee couldn’t suppress the soft moan that escaped her lips. The dual sensations on both sides sent waves of pleasure coursing through her, making her gasp. Realizing Hyojung was just outside the door, she quickly covered her mouth with her hand. But even with her efforts, faint moans continued to escape as the wet pleasure against her chest grew more intense.
Kang-joo chuckled quietly. His tongue played with the peaks, licking and flicking them before biting down gently in a playful manner. The saliva-soaked tips stiffened further from the friction.
“It seems like she might hear us…”
Kang-joo finally released her breasts. The once taut flesh bounced lightly as it fell, glistening slightly from the moisture. Her nipples, swollen and sensitive, stood erect from the lingering stimulation.
Breathing heavily, Jae-hee looked up at him. Did this mean they should stop, fearing that the sounds might carry outside? Strangely, instead of relief, she felt a pang of disappointment. Her body ached for his touch, feeling oddly empty without it.
Kang-joo glanced at the firmly shut door before turning his gaze back to Jae-hee beneath him. Without warning, he lifted her up into his arms as if she were a child. Turning around, he laid her atop him, positioning her over his body.
Jae-hee instinctively clung to him, startled by the sudden movement. When she regained her senses, she realized she was straddling him, seated atop him as he lay back against the bed.
“Kang-joo?”
He gripped her hips firmly, adjusting her position so she was seated directly over him.
“Try doing it yourself,” he said.
“W-what…?”
“If I take over, you won’t be able to keep quiet. It’s better if you do it yourself.”
“…”
Jae-hee swallowed hard, her breath catching in her throat. Beneath her, she could feel his heat and hardness pressing insistently against her. The vivid sensation of him against her was enough to make her face flush deeply with embarrassment.
When she hesitated, Kang-joo shifted his hips slightly. The motion created friction, causing his rigid length to press against her slick entrance. The wet, sticky sound of their bodies brushing against each other was unmistakable. His arousal, already weeping with anticipation, teased her sensitive folds as it slid back and forth.
“Ah…!”
Jae-hee’s lower abdomen tensed reflexively.
Her entrance, already drenched, twitched and clenched involuntarily. Even with just this subtle friction, a faint wave of pleasure spread through her.
“What are you waiting for? You’re not putting it in.”
His voice was soft yet carried a commanding undertone.
Reluctantly, Jae-hee gripped his shoulders, her thighs trembling slightly as she lifted her hips. Positioning herself over him, she aligned her entrance with his length. But this was a position she had never tried before, and she found it difficult to guide him in. Instead, her trembling entrance quivered and tightened, unable to fully take him in.
Flustered and unsure, Jae-hee bit her lip nervously. Kang-joo smirked faintly, amused by her awkward attempts. Even without proper insertion, the tip of his length, slick with pre-cum, continued to press against her, dripping slightly.
“Hold on,” he said, stopping her movements.
Kang-joo reached down to grip his shaft, already coated in a sticky sheen. He stroked it a few times before carefully guiding it to her entrance. With deliberate precision, he rubbed the tip against her folds, parting her slightly.
The new angle allowed their bodies to align naturally. A slight shift from either of them—a thrust from him or a downward motion from her—and they would be fully joined.
Letting out a languid breath, Kang-joo spoke again, his tone a low command.
“Now, lower your hips.”
Jae-hee swallowed hard and, after a moment’s hesitation, began to slowly lower herself.
“Ah…!”
The thick and heated shaft pushed into her entrance, forcing it apart as it filled her deeply.
Jae-hee clenched her eyes shut and gasped for air. She felt as though her opening had been stretched to its very limit. The sensation of being penetrated was overwhelming and vivid.
It felt as if someone were driving a burning rod into her, forcing it deep inside. The sensation was much more intense than when she was on her back. This position allowed him to reach places inside her she hadn’t felt before.
“Hmm…”
Jae-hee trembled slightly. Straddling him with her legs spread wide and taking him in herself felt incredibly embarrassing. The sheer fullness in her abdomen was almost too much to bear.
Barely managing to look down, she checked below. Even after all her effort, she realized only half of him had entered her. Her face turned pale at the sight.
“Do I… do I need to take in more?”
“Is it too much for you?” Kang-joo asked leisurely.
“Yes, it’s too big…”
“Take it all in. If it still hurts, then we can stop.”
“…”
With a face that looked like she might cry, Jae-hee lowered her hips again. Despite it being a simple change in position, it felt impossibly overwhelming. The sensation of his tip pressing against and pushing into her inner walls was sharp and pronounced. Slowly, his shaft filled her completely, stretching her to capacity.
“Ah…!”
She let out a soft, pained moan. While she had managed to take all of him in, moving seemed impossible. All she could do was breathe heavily, her chest rising and falling in time with her shallow gasps.
Kang-joo reached up to hold her stiffened waist. Instead of guiding her up and down, he gently rotated her hips, creating a slow, grinding friction. The motion made Jae-hee wobble and begin to move along with him.
“Ugh…”
The joined area between them rubbed together, his shaft twisting and stirring her insides as it rotated.
Jae-hee’s body stiffened. She could feel the roughness of his hair brushing against her sensitive skin. The sensation of him splitting her apart made her thighs tense involuntarily.
When she remained tense and still, Kang-joo reached down and spread her thighs wide apart. Jae-hee glanced at her now even more exposed position and instinctively tried to pull her legs back together, but she couldn’t resist his firm grip.
Kang-joo’s fingers moved to her thin patch of hair, tracing it lightly before spreading her apart. He gently parted the area above her entrance, exposing the small, hidden bud of her clit, which now stood shyly in the open.
With his fingers, he softly tapped against the sensitive nub.
“Ah!”
Jae-hee’s hips jerked upward in response, her entrance tightening instinctively around him.
Kang-joo rubbed the slick bud, stimulating it gently. The trembling walls of her core clenched tightly around his shaft, as if pulling him in deeper.
“Ahh… mmph…!”
Jae-hee quickly covered her mouth to stifle her moans, her fingertips trembling. Waves of pleasure rolled through her body, making her skin flush and dampen. Her arousal spilled out, flowing down to wet the hair at the base of Kang-joo’s length.
A fiery, carnal desire began to rise within her. She wanted him to move, to fill her aching core with deep, powerful thrusts. Her body burned with a desperate, throbbing need that threatened to consume her.
“Now move,” Kang-joo urged, still rubbing her sensitive clit.
Giving in to the pleasure, Jae-hee decided to let herself go. She lifted her hips, feeling his thick shaft slide out of her, only to lower herself back down, letting it sink in deeply again.
“Ahhh!”
“Phew…”
Kang-joo exhaled a languid breath as he looked up at her, his expression heavy with pleasure.
Slowly and steadily, Jae-hee began to move. Her breath hitched and came out in strained, uneven moans as she rocked her hips. Each time the tip of his shaft reached the deepest part of her, intense pleasure made her back arch. When she lifted herself and then dropped back down to take him fully, the overwhelming sensation drew sharp cries from her lips.
Alongside the pleasure, a faint sense of shame crept over her. Sitting before him with her legs spread wide, exposing her most intimate parts while moving on her own to stir her insides, was unbearably embarrassing. But the pleasure outweighed the shame, and with a face that looked as if she might burst into tears at any moment, Jae-hee couldn’t help but keep moving her hips.
“Ah, ugh, mm! Ugh…!”
Each time his shaft moved in and out, her slick, soaked entrance made obscene, wet noises. The cloudy, translucent arousal coated his length as it plunged inside her, spreading through her depths. The sound of their thighs slapping together filled the room with lewd echoes.
Jae-hee moved atop him as though pounding a mortar with a pestle, each motion demanding her strength. Thud, thud—his thick shaft probed deeply, sending sparks of sensation through her abdomen every time. Beneath her, the long and heavy length slid in and out, filling her completely.
“Ugh, hhng… ah, ah!”
Her mind was in chaos. The soaring pleasure lifted her into a haze of sensations. Her pale thighs quivered uncontrollably, unable to withstand the intense feelings. Each bounce sent her breasts swaying lasciviously, the taut nipples brushing and flicking with every movement.
Kang-joo’s gaze roamed over her. Her flushed body undulated sensually, her disheveled hair cascading over her shoulders, her chest bouncing provocatively in rhythm with her motions.
Raising his hands, he grabbed her nipples firmly between his fingers, pressing and kneading them roughly.
“Ahh!”
A scream-like moan burst from Jae-hee’s lips. Struggling to keep moving despite the overwhelming pleasure, she finally collapsed forward onto Kang-joo’s chest, her delicate breaths coming out in shallow gasps.
Kang-joo leaned in, pressing his lips to her ear as she rested her forehead against his shoulder.
“Are you tired?”
“…Yes…”
Jae-hee nodded in response, unable to form a proper answer through her labored breathing. The overwhelming pleasure dragged her deeper into a dizzying abyss. Her trembling hands instinctively clung to his arms for support.
“Should I take over?”
“…Yes… please…” she replied in a small, broken voice.
As if he had been waiting, Kang-joo grabbed her hips firmly. Spreading her soft cheeks wide, he mercilessly thrust upward into her exposed entrance.
“Ah! Ah! Ahhh!”
Jae-hee’s body jerked violently with each thrust. The power of his movements sent her reeling like a broken doll, her body unable to keep up with the relentless pleasure. Each thrust struck like lightning, sending shockwaves through her entire being.
As he pounded into her, the intense pleasure engulfed her completely. Jae-hee let go, surrendering herself to his rhythm. It felt as if someone had set off fireworks deep within her walls. Her body, now at the mercy of his strength, no longer felt like her own.
“Ah! Ahh! Ugh! Ah… ahhh!”
Her cries spilled out in staccato bursts. She buried her face into his shoulder as the wet sounds of flesh meeting flesh echoed loudly.
Kang-joo gripped her waist tightly, holding her steady as he began to thrust even faster. His slick shaft pounded into her, delving deeper and rougher with every movement.
“Ah! Ah! Ugh! Mm, ah!”
The relentless thrusts reached deep into her core, her body shuddering violently. The pleasure struck like a crash, leaving her on the verge of tears. The intensity of his movements, combined with the inability to escape, made every thrust even more vivid and overpowering.
The darkened room was filled with the sound of wet flesh meeting flesh, the lewd slaps echoing shamelessly. Kang-joo pulled her upright, lifting her from where she had collapsed against his chest. As she flailed slightly, he guided her to sit up, steadying her.
Jae-hee’s body rose and fell sharply, her dazed eyes locking onto his. Her bouncing chest was now directly in front of his face, the taut nipples jutting forward enticingly. They swayed and beckoned him, glistening with moisture.
Lowering his head, Kang-joo took one of her nipples into his mouth, sucking hard as he slammed her hips downward.
“Ah!”
The sensation of his length driving deeply into her made her cry out.
Jae-hee shook her head frantically, overwhelmed by the sensations from both above and below. The dual pleasure pushed her to the edge, leaving her gasping.
“Hng! Ugh! Ah! Mm… ahh!”
She reached out with trembling arms and clung desperately to Kang-joo’s shoulders. Her other breast, untouched by his mouth, bounced obscenely with her movements. Barely holding herself upright, she let out groans as though she were in pain. She felt as though she would lose the last shred of self-control and let out a piercing scream at any moment.
“Kang-joo, s-sir, ugh! Ah! It’s too much… ngh…”
Tears welled up in Jae-hee’s eyes. The overwhelming pleasure surged through her, a chaotic and tumultuous storm. With every rise and fall, the tears clinging to her lashes scattered into the air.
After releasing her nipple, which he had been sucking intently, Kang-joo abruptly pulled Jae-hee’s body downward. Then, pulling her tear-streaked face close, he kissed her fervently. As her tongue retreated, his chased and tangled with hers, filling her mouth completely like a snake coiling around its prey.
She couldn’t even let out a proper moan. The sharp cries that wanted to burst forth were swallowed entirely by his dominating kiss.
Jae-hee trembled, biting down on his lips. Sparks of electric pleasure raked through her body, causing her to shudder violently. The orgasm hit her like a tidal wave, crashing over her with unrelenting force.
“Mmngh…!”
She bit down harder on Kang-joo’s lips as her inner walls clenched around him tightly, almost as if trying to devour him. Her arms clung desperately to his neck as the overwhelming climax surged through her.
Kang-joo delivered a final, powerful thrust, gripping her waist tightly as her trembling, convulsing insides were pushed to their peak. His own release followed, hot and heavy, filling her to the brim as his hips jerked involuntarily.
He came deeply, drawing out his climax with long, deliberate movements.
“...?”
“Mmngh…”
As his seed filled her, he moved slowly within her, drawing out the sensation.
Jae-hee’s body twitched faintly, shivering in the aftermath of the relentless waves of pleasure that coursed through her like wildfire. The mixture of his release and her own overflowed, trickling slowly out from between them.
“Hngh…”
Eyes closed, Jae-hee exhaled deeply. She had grown accustomed to the sensation of something warm flowing inside her. The feeling of receiving all of him had also become familiar to her.
Seemingly savoring the moment, Kang-joo pressed a kiss to her cheek, still buried deep inside her. When some of the spilled fluids began to dampen his groin, he abruptly picked Jae-hee up and shifted her position.
“Haa, haa…”
With hazy eyes, Jae-hee gazed up at him. Just moments ago, she had been on top, but now, she found herself pinned beneath him, unable to move.
Kang-joo pressed her thighs down firmly, spreading her legs wide apart. From the gap between her thighs, his still-thick length slid out slowly, making a wet, sticky noise as it emerged. When even the swollen tip finally slipped free, the tight, glistening entrance quivered and clenched reflexively.
His gaze burned as he looked down at her. Gripping her ankles firmly, he spread her legs even wider.
Pinned in that position, Jae-hee’s entrance gaped slightly, twitching open and closed. Through the reddened slit, his cloudy release began to trickle out slowly. Kang-joo’s brows furrowed slightly.
Gathering the leaking fluids with his fingers, he pushed them back into her exposed entrance.
“Kang-joo… sir…?”
Her weak voice called out to him, confusion evident in her tone as he forced the spilled seed back into her.
Kang-joo, having roughly pressed it back inside, began stroking his semi-hard length with slow, deliberate movements. As he worked it with his hand, the veins along its shaft began to bulge again, and he spread the remaining fluids over its surface.
“Don’t let any of it spill. You have to take it all in.”
With his length fully hard again, Kang-joo thrust it back inside her in one fluid motion.
“Ah…!”
“That’s the only way we might see some results, isn’t it?”
“Kang-joo, sir… I’m so tired now…”
“Strange, isn’t it? We’ve done so much, and yet, still…”
As Jae-hee flinched and tried to close her trembling thighs, his firm hands pushed them apart again. Moving slowly, he thrust deeply into her, making sure the fluid that had started to leak was pushed back inside. Each slow stroke drove him deep, causing her insides to tighten reflexively around him.
Even with the unhurried pace, Jae-hee’s body began to heat up again with alarming ease.
Jae-hee lay beneath him, gasping for breath as the weight of his muscular body pressed down on her.
The renewed penetration was slow yet deliberate, as though it were no longer for the sake of pleasure but for some sacred purpose, like a solemn ritual. Kang-joo pushed himself deeply into her, his length filling her entirely, before whispering into her ear.
“How much would it take for it to work?”
The question felt rhetorical, as though he didn’t expect an answer.
Unable to grasp the meaning behind his words, Jae-hee could only let out heated, ragged breaths, her body still trembling with arousal.
Jae-hee tapped her thigh lightly and popped the birth control pill into her mouth. As she drank water, she felt the small pill slide down her throat.
She placed the glass down and gazed at the living room. At the far end, near the large glass window, a woman lay asleep beneath it.
“…Our Hyo-jeong is sleeping well.”
Last night, as the overwhelming pleasure surged, she had tried to stifle her moans. But despite her efforts, sounds escaped, and in the end, she clung to his neck, sobbing. Hyo-jeong can’t hear this. Hyo-jeong mustn’t know. Worry had gnawed at her, but she had been too lost in the ecstasy he gave her, swaying helplessly.
It was always like that. Whenever she was beneath him, it felt as though she were being swept away by a raging current, unable to steady herself.
“Surely it couldn’t have been loud enough for her to hear last night.”
She shook her head as if trying to dispel the thought, murmuring to herself.
Kang-joo had already left the house, saying he had prior plans for the weekend. It had been an intense and passionate night, with him moving more vigorously than ever. So logically, if anyone should feel exhausted, it ought to be him.
Yet, as always, it was her body that bore the brunt of it, aching and sore. Even today, her thighs trembled like she’d spent the entire day cycling. All she’d done was struggle to move on top of him, but it felt like her whole body had been drained of energy.
‘Get some more sleep. I’ll be back.’
She vaguely recalled the morning sunlight streaming in as he kissed her forehead before leaving. While she could barely manage a proper response, his face had been as sharp and composed as always.
His stamina was truly remarkable. Balancing his demanding corporate job, duties within his wealthy family, and even nights like these—it was almost superhuman. If anyone embodied the ideal man, surely it was Kang-joo. But keeping up with such a person had left her utterly drained.
Jae-hee let out a faint laugh, wondering if she should start taking herbal medicine to keep up. At this rate, continuing to keep up with him might someday leave her bedridden.
She pocketed the birth control case and left the kitchen, heading to wake Hyo-jeong for breakfast.
Talks of marriage had come up, but life carried on as usual.
Kang-joo didn’t seem in any rush. He knew that being too hasty or stubborn would only make his mother, Yeonghyeon, dig her heels in further in opposition. Some things, like creatures during a snowstorm, burrow deep underground, making it impossible to coax them out. His mother was one of those things.
It was a typical evening. Kang-joo was sitting on the sofa, reviewing documents when he suddenly spoke.
“Starting next week, we’ll visit my family’s home more frequently.”
“Does that mean the formal meeting is coming up?”
“It’s too soon for that.”
Jae-hee felt a wave of relief. The thought of a formal meeting—a critical step toward marriage—made her nervous. And it wasn’t just any meeting; it would be in front of the chairman and his wife of a powerful conglomerate. Adding to her anxiety was the fact that she couldn’t even bring her parents along.
“What will we do during those visits?” she asked.
“We’ll simply make our presence known. Have dinner together, visit on weekends, and go as often as possible.”
“They won’t just kick me out, will they?”
While the chairman seemed eager to welcome her into the family, Kang-joo’s mother, Yeonghyeon, seemed to have a different attitude.
Kang-joo shook his head.
“She’s not the type to act that unreasonably.”
“Hmm, then would it be possible for me to move in there permanently?”
Living at the main house might make it easier to find opportunities to make a good impression, instead of visiting occasionally and feeling like an outsider. However, Kang-joo gently discouraged the idea.
“I’d rather not leave you near my father for too long. I won’t always be there to stay by your side.”
“I understand,” Jae-hee replied, nodding easily.
She didn’t press further.
I also didn’t want to get personally involved with Chairman Cha. Investigating him was unavoidable, but I didn’t want to associate with him beyond that. I felt an instinctive aversion.
Kang-joo, looking down at the documents again, nonchalantly drove in the wedge.
“Prepare yourselves. We’ll be moving in as early as next week.”
“What brings you here? Coming to see your mother first like this?”
Young-hyun playfully teased Kang-joo. Kang-joo stood by the window of the art gallery office Young-hyun managed, looking down. Two pigeons flew between the sculptures in the peaceful sunlight.
Kang-joo soon turned and sat on the sofa opposite Young-hyun. And without preamble, she got straight to the point.
“Mother, you once told me to start thinking about moving into the main house.”
“I did.”
Unable to grasp Kang-joo’s intention, Young-hyun narrowed her eyes. Of course, she would welcome Kang-joo with open arms if she were to move in, but the timing wasn’t right. There was talk of marriage. Young-hyun sensed it. This was surely related to the marriage Kang-joo had mentioned.
In conclusion, Young-hyun’s hunch was half right.
“I was thinking, what if Jae-hee and I moved into the main house?”
“What!”
Young-hyun jumped up from her seat. While she had hoped for Kang-joo to return, this was by no means what she had envisioned. What purpose would there be in bringing someone to the house before they were even married? She would force them to live together, spread rumors of cohabitation, and then use that to solidify the marriage. It was obvious.
Young-hyun rubbed her flushed cheeks and sat back down on the sofa.
“Absolutely not! Kang-joo, what on earth are you talking about!”
“You’ve always wanted me to move in, Mother.”
“That’s true, but it’s different than just you coming alone!”
Kang-joo remained unmoved by Young-hyun’s flushed reaction.
“Jae-hee is a good person. If you live together, you’ll grow fond of her and come to like her.”
“Don’t talk nonsense! What kind of disgrace is it to start living together before marriage!”
Her reaction was firm. Her eyes clearly showed her unwavering determination not to allow anything resembling the cohabitation Kang-joo was suggesting.
Kang-joo shook her head, feigning concern.
“You shut me down as soon as I mention Jae-hee, so I have no other choice.”
“......”
At the subdued tone, Young-hyun’s expression also changed. She herself didn’t like the situation of opposing her son who was offering to move back in. It was her own child whom she always wanted to welcome with open arms.
Kang-joo continued, gently persuading her.
“If you don’t want us to live together, at least give us some time in the evening. I’d like to have dinner together.”
At that, deep contemplation crossed Young-hyun’s face. While having Jae-hee barge in was unacceptable, spending an evening together might not be so bad. Especially since Kang-joo desired it so much.
Kang-joo didn’t wait for Young-hyun to finish deliberating and firmly drove in the wedge.
“She’s the person I’ve chosen, so please at least allow me this much. You should at least give me a chance to try.”
“......”
A faint sigh escaped Young-hyun’s lips.
She had felt uneasy since earlier. Her son had always been distant, which worried her. She didn’t like how she was just cutting him off when he was proposing to live together.
Moreover, it wasn’t often that Kang-joo asked for something. It was the first time since she had asked her from America to let her return to Korea. That made her even more concerned. Kang-joo wanted it that much. Kang-joo, who hated bowing her head or asking others for favors so much.
‘Just dinner might be okay. It’s just a meal.’
“Alright, just close your eyes for a moment.” Yeonghyeon fiddled with the sapphire ring, then nodded as if making a decision.
“Okay, I understand. But doing it every day would be uncomfortable for both of us... How about once every four days?”
“Thank you, Mom.”
“...But you should visit the art gallery like today too.”
“Yes, I’ll come often.”
“Just words, just words.”
Yeonghyeon teased Kang-joo with a sly look. Kang-joo just smiled in return.
The thick garage door slowly opened as Kang-joo’s car gently entered.
Jae-hee took a deep breath. The mansion, where she had briefly lived as a child, felt like a mountain today, so immense.
Right now, she was stepping into the residence of Chairman Cha as “Kang-joo’s lover.” When she visited the vacant mansion with Kang-joo before, she hadn’t felt this tense. Even though it was a contract marriage, stepping in as a potential daughter-in-law for the first time felt unexpectedly nerve-wracking.
After engaging the handbrake, Kang-joo extended his hand toward Jae-hee.
“Are you nervous?”
“No, not at all. I’m fine, really.”
Jae-hee denied it, but still tightly grasped his hand. A faint smile passed over Kang-joo’s face. The coldness in her palm betrayed the sweat trickling out. Though her face looked determined on the outside, on the inside, she was soft and gentle.
Kang-joo didn’t get out of the car, nor did he tell her to get out. He simply held her hand for a moment.
The rapid beat of Jae-hee’s heart began to slow down. The chill in her fingertips gradually warmed. Just by holding her hand, her unease seemed to melt away like a lie.
She felt like she had found a reliable ally. In reality, he was just her future husband, who had proposed a contract marriage out of a desire for freedom.
But with a smile so charming and warmth so comforting, what did it matter if it was a fake relationship? Right now, he was hers.
“It’s warm now.”
As Kang-joo released Jae-hee’s hand and pressed the button to release her seatbelt, he watched her pack her bag with a calm expression.
“Now, Jae-hee, you can do whatever you want. Whether it’s the chairman’s private affairs, his scandals, whatever. If you find anything, just bring it up.”
“Are you handing me the keys to take down Chairman Cha?”
She asked with a smile, and he answered casually, also smiling.
“Yes. I’ll just enjoy the party while watching Chairman Cha go down.”
Jae-hee felt something stir inside her. The fall of Chairman Cha. What would come after that? At that party, how would she and Kang-joo be standing? Together? Or...
“What will happen when we get everything we want... what will be left at the end of this contract?”
Once they both had what they wanted, what would come next?
Something surged up inside her, but she couldn’t pinpoint what it was. It wasn’t just regret or emptiness. As she stood at the threshold of the mansion, anxiety seemed to creep up, and she mentally scolded herself for speaking nonsense.
Kang-joo’s quiet gaze swept over Jae-hee’s confusion. He stared at her lowered lashes, then tilted his head and approached her.
Their lips gently met. Slowly, like snow melting under the ground.
“Ah...”
When Jae-hee was surprised and opened her mouth, his tongue entered as if it had been waiting. It gently intertwined with hers, and her worries and anxieties seemed to melt away with the tender kiss.
He took his time, savoring the kiss before pulling away quickly.
As he looked at her, her face dazed, Kang-joo smiled.
“Jae-hee, don’t worry about anything. Once we both get what we want, we can cleanly wrap things up.”
“Something you want.” Jae-hee quietly murmured the sentence in her mind.
“...Are you talking about Chairman Cha’s downfall and Kang-joo’s freedom?”
Kang-joo’s large hand brushed across her lower abdomen. Slowly, it caressed and gently rubbed. Wherever it touched, a dull warmth spread. When she instinctively curled her stomach, his quiet voice whispered near her ear.
“Well, I’m not sure if Jae-hee can give me what I really want. What I truly desire, I doubt you could even imagine in your dreams.”
What else, besides freedom, could he possibly want?
“If that’s what Kang-joo wants, I’ll do my best to make sure our ending is a good one—”
“No, Jae-hee, don’t worry ahead of time. Forget about the contract. Just focus on the present. Right now, just live in the moment.”
Cutting off her words, he whispered as if soothing a child.
Jae-hee didn’t realize the dangerous heat rising within his gentle gaze. So, she could only nod quietly in response.
“Yes.”
And, as if she were his obedient follower.
