Psst! We're moving!
Min-hyuk responded to Joo-eun’s sweet kiss by teasingly deepening it, pulling her lips into his with unabashed intensity.
Through the slight gap she had opened, his tongue slipped inside, sweetly filling her mouth.
The kiss was both passionate and tender, causing Joo-eun to tighten her arms around his shoulders.
Just as she thought they were about to dive deeper into the moment, he pulled back slightly, leaving her eyes fluttering open in confusion.
“If I promise to keep things like this, will you consider my offer?”
This time, Min-hyuk set the condition with a playful smile, prompting Joo-eun to glare at him.
How was she supposed to handle this man who seemed to be training her more and more? Fueled by a stubborn streak, she countered with a challenge of her own.
“If you promise to stop here, I’ll think about it too.”
Their tense standoff continued until Min-hyuk, unable to resist any longer, gently stroked her cheek.
She covered his hand with hers, and for a while, their touches lingered—warm and intimate.
Slowly, his hand began to wander downward, and she could feel exactly where he was headed. Her eyes trembled slightly in anticipation.
When his large, warm hand reached its destination and began to stimulate her, her expression shifted into something subtly sultry as their gazes locked.
Seeing her reaction, he applied even more pressure, causing her to furrow her brow and let out a soft, erotic moan.
“Haa…”
“You say one thing, but your body tells another story. Look how much you want this.”
With a small sigh of surrender, Joo-eun raised a white flag.
“Hmm… You’re getting crueler every day, you know that?”
“And yet, you like it more every day too,” he teased.
“I’m still not promising to go to DK Electronics, though.”
“You know me. If you tell me to do something, I’ll do anything—even jump into hellfire.”
“You’re insane. Why would you go there? Don’t leave me. Don’t go anywhere.”
Pleased with her command, he smirked at her with fiery eyes. The sight of him was so unbearably sexy that Joo-eun swallowed hard.
“I won’t go. Absolutely not. I’m yours forever. So take me however you want tonight.”
One round should have been enough to exhaust her completely, but here he was, riling her up again.
Joo-eun lightly tapped his shoulder with a laugh.
“What?”
The sensation under her palm felt less like a human shoulder and more like a solid rock.
“Are you even human? Is this a boulder you’ve strapped on?”
She playfully ran her hands over his broad, muscular shoulders.
“The rest of me is even harder,” he murmured.
“Ah…”
His gaze promised no end to their night.
“Down below has been ready since a while ago.”
Joo-eun gulped audibly.
She thought she was prepared too, but whenever he overwhelmed her like this, her body couldn’t help but tense up.
Min-hyuk gazed at her with smoldering eyes as he slowly unbuttoned his shirt.
The sight was so sensual that Joo-eun froze, unable to move or speak.
“From here on, you’ll have to do the work.”
He raised an eyebrow mischievously, making the request sound almost polite.
Feeling flustered, Joo-eun fumbled with the buckle of his pants, eventually dropping to her knees when it wouldn’t cooperate.
Every brush of her fingers against him made his breathing grow heavier. Finding it amusing, she deliberately grazed a certain protruding area over and over.
“Haa…”
With a low groan, he laid her down and stripped off the rest of his clothes.
The sight of his fully erect form left Joo-eun speechless.
It wasn’t the first time she’d seen him like this, but tonight he seemed impossibly larger, more imposing, and utterly overwhelming.
“Just so you know, this won’t end after just one round. I plan to make up for all the times we won’t see each other at work.”
His large hand swiftly removed her clothes, mercilessly stimulating her most sensitive spots.
“D-Director…! Go slower, please.”
The veins on his taut arms bulged as the sounds of their intimacy grew embarrassingly loud.
Her plea for slowness clashed hilariously with the reality of their escalating passion.
Min-hyuk smirked and draped her leg over his shoulder.
Anticipating what was coming next, Joo-eun’s eyes widened in apprehension.
As expected, he thrust forward with unrelenting force, causing her toes to curl in the air as she struggled to hold on.
“Ahhhh!”
Her brows knitted together from the overwhelming sensation.
“Ha… Song Joo-eun, you really…”
“What did I do… Haa!”
“You have a talent for driving people crazy.”
“Aah!”
While holding her firmly in place, his movements below were scorching hot.
Unable to contain herself any longer, Joo-eun let out a scream-like moan.
But this was only the beginning. True to his earlier warning, he took her again and again, each time leaving her wanting more. Their fiery night showed no signs of cooling down anytime soon.

Thunk. A fountain pen lay alone in an empty box.
Jang-wook stared at it, rolling the pen around within the hollow space.
“Director Min is truly something else. After working here for months, there’s nothing to take with me—not even this pen.”
Min-hyuk glanced up with a nonchalant expression and tossed the document he was reading into the trash.
“There is one person I want to take with me.”
“Who? Me?”
“Don’t be ridiculous.”
Min-hyuk shot him a sharp look that made Jang-wook pout. As he checked his phone, his eyes suddenly widened in shock.
“No way… How did this happen so quickly?”
“What now? What’s the news?”
“The article about Director Min’s marriage announcement has been posted alongside a scandal involving Chae-rin.”
Chae-rin had caused a scene at a club, resulting in police intervention. Attempts by GB Group’s secretary office to bribe the officers had sparked controversy, leading to a flood of whistleblower reports about Chae-rin’s past misconduct. Calls for a full audit of GB Group were mounting.
Amidst all this, the news of Min-hyuk marrying an ordinary employee had sent the media and netizens into a frenzy. They praised his decision to leave Chae-rin for someone “normal.”
“Serves them right—both Chae-rin and Chairman Lee. It’s karma.”
Min-hyuk closed the box, showing no interest in Chae-rin’s troubles.
“That’s everything packed.”
“What do you mean ‘packed’? What did you do?”
“I’m leaving everything behind. I told you—I don’t want to take anything except Song Joo-eun.”
With a casual gesture signaling Jang-wook to handle the rest, Min-hyuk walked out of the office.
“Wow… Leaving the office where he worked for months like this? So cool, so cool.”
Shaking his head, Jang-wook picked up the box and followed him. But just as they stepped out,
“Aiyoo!”
Jang-wook gasped in shock.
There stood Min-hyuk, openly showering affection on Joo-eun in full view of everyone.
“D-Director… Everyone’s watching!”
Joo-eun whispered, her face flushed red.
Min-hyuk leaned over her chair, one hand gripping the desk and the other holding the mouse, effectively trapping her in his embrace.
“This is intentional. I may be leaving, but this is my way of marking my territory—touch my woman, and there’ll be consequences.”
He clicked the mouse leisurely as he whispered these words.
Joo-eun’s heart pounded wildly at his words.
“Everyone already knows I’m about to get married. Who would dare touch me? Move away, this is embarrassing…”
“Still, I’m uneasy. Should I fire Kim Dae-ri?”
Startled by his teasing, Joo-eun’s eyes widened.
“You’re going to keep this up?”
“Sorry. I just can’t bear to leave. Shall we sneak into the storage room?”
Slap!
When Joo-eun smacked his arm, he exaggeratedly cried out, “Ow!”
The team members, who normally trembled just meeting the director’s gaze, were stunned to see her hit him so boldly.
Chuckling, Min-hyuk straightened up.
“I’ll be going now. I trust you all to take good care of DK Media.”
“Ah… Y-yes, sir.”
Everyone scrambled to their feet, exchanging nervous glances.
“And please take good care of our Song Daeri as well.”
Min-hyuk bowed politely, prompting everyone to awkwardly bow along with him.
“I’m leaving. Don’t follow me.”
Smiling softly, Min-hyuk’s parting words left everyone momentarily mesmerized.
“Yes. With so many eyes watching, I can’t leave with you. See you later.”
Joo-eun gave a subtle nod to Jang-wook before bidding farewell to Team Leader Gam. Then, she and Min-hyuk left the office together.
As soon as he was gone, Joo-eun felt an unexpected void in her chest.
She had thought she’d be fine. She had even laughed at him for acting like a child throwing a tantrum because he didn’t want to leave.
But now, regret washed over her.
“I guess I relied on him more than I realized…”
The weight of his absence hit her hard as she took a deep breath.
The lingering scent of him tickled her nose, and when she placed her hand on the still-warm mouse, it felt as if he were still there.
“Hmm… If I’d known it would feel like this, I should’ve let him mark his territory a little more before he left.”
All she could think about now was finishing work quickly so she could see him again.
That was the only thought occupying her mind.

Though it was billed as a small wedding with only close acquaintances invited, the preparations were much the same as any other wedding.
With Joo-eun busy at work and Hyejoo managing the café, their only free time was on weekends.
Still, they couldn’t delay delivering the wedding invitation to Joo-eun’s late father. Together, mother and daughter visited the columbarium.
Standing before her father’s urn, Joo-eun was taken aback.
“Why is there already a wedding invitation here…?”
She turned to Hyejoo, standing beside her, who looked equally bewildered.
“Could it be…?”
“Do you think Mr. Jung knew about your father’s urn being here?”
“Yes, I mentioned it casually once when he asked…”
“Oh my goodness. He must have come and gone without telling you.”
Hyejoo wiped her reddened eyes with her fingertips.
Joo-eun, too, felt tears welling up as she picked up the invitation resting near the urn.
She flipped it over, half-expecting to find a note.
Sure enough, there was a short message:
“I will give you all the love Father couldn’t give you. Please watch over us from above.”
A tear that had been trembling on the edge of her eyelashes finally fell, landing softly on the invitation.
Her father had always been cheerful and optimistic. How happy he would have been to see his daughter marrying such a remarkable man.
“Our dad… Even without sleep, our dad must be so thrilled he can’t rest now.”
“Knowing him, he’s probably throwing a party up there.”
Hyejoo, who had already cried her fill, pouted and teased through her tears.
Thinking of her father’s lively personality, Joo-eun smiled faintly.
She carefully returned the invitation to its spot without showing it to Hyejoo. If her mother saw his heartfelt message, she’d surely cry twice as hard as usual.
“Mom, don’t you have anything to say to Dad?”
“What’s there to say?”
“Come on… We haven’t visited him in a while. Say something.”
Joo-eun tugged at Hyejoo’s sleeve, coaxing her to speak.
“Dear… You told me to listen to you, so I agreed to this marriage. But honestly, even if you hadn’t approved, I think this son-in-law is wonderful. Please watch over them from heaven.”
“Dad… Did he approve?”
“Yes. He came to me in a dream and said, ‘She looks as beautiful as we did back then. Forgive her.’”
So that’s why he suddenly changed his mind…
Joo-eun nodded slowly, finally understanding.
“I’m sorry for opposing this, even briefly, and for splashing water on Mr. Jung. I was just so angry back then—I couldn’t help it.”
“I know, Mom. Let’s focus on the good things now.”
“Yes, let’s… Do you have anything to say to your dad?”
Joo-eun wiped her eyes and turned her gaze toward the urn.
“Dad. Please come to the wedding. Come see how much your beloved daughter has grown, how beautiful she’s become. Okay?”
She placed her own invitation next to Min-hyuk’s.
“To Our Beloved Daddy, Whom We Miss So Much”
Hyejoo gently rubbed Joo-eun’s back, while Joo-eun patted her mother’s shoulder in return. Together, they comforted each other.
For a long while, they stood there, sending their unspoken letters to the heavens.
