Sydney Drees is a sophomore transfer student at University of Michigan aspiring to be an orthodontist. She was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Prior to Michigan, she attended Creighton University where she played division 1 soccer. Sydney has played soccer her whole life, and that consumed most of her time until this point.
Since she stopped playing, she found a lot of different passions. Sydney took various different cooking classes enhancing her skills in the kitchen and guiding her to find new foods to enjoy. One of her new favorite things to do includes going to different restaurants with her friends and rating the food. She also started to take Pure Barre workout classes and completed various challenges this fall. Finding new and fun workouts is in her plans for the upcoming year.
School has always been a very important aspect of her life, and she has plans to go to dental school. Michigan is a school she is certain will push her to the best of her abilities. She loves to explore new things and is excited to see what lies ahead of her.
