Elizabeth Murray, a second-year student at the University of Michigan, joined the College of LSA in the Fall of 2022. Before that, she attended Pelham Memorial High School, in Westchester, NY, where she became fascinated by many different subjects, and made her best friends. Now, she is proud to be involved in many ways at Michigan, as she is the DEI Chair of the Ross Retail Club, where she explores her interest in fashion and retail while broadening her understanding of inequality and discrimination in these industries. She is also a tech analyst for Reach Consulting Group on campus, where she works on tech consulting projects for clients to develop solutions for companies. She is majoring in Organizational Studies, where she will study the interdisciplinary nature of decision-making and creative strategy in organizations. One of her main interests outside of school is cooking, as she grew up watching her parents and grandparents cook homemade French meals, and eventually she was taught these valuable culinary skills to keep the family tradition of French cooking strong. Her family's and her personal favorite French dish to cook and eat is called Beef Bourguignon, which is a classic meal with beef, wine, vegetables, and French spices.Â
