Matthew Fisher

Freshman Matthew Fisher plays men's soccer for Michigan as a defender but isn't sure what major he wants to pursue. 

Matthew's dream has always been to attend the University of Michigan. He grew up in Rochester, Michigan. He has been playing soccer since he was four years old, and it is a unique sensation to play for his ideal university. He attended high school in Kansas to pursue his dreams of playing professional soccer, which he did at the age of 17.One day, Matthew hopes to play in front of thousands of supporters while they're wearing his shirt. 

He enjoys playing golf and shopping while he's not playing soccer. Golfing has been something that all his family members take part in, so he came to love the sport. Thrifting and shoe collecting is something he has been doing since high school, and he has found a devotion to it. 

Living in Michigan, fall is his favorite season, and he loves to get cider and doughnuts and make memories with his friends and family.
