Carson Caldwell is a sophomore at the University of Michigan studying computer science on the pre-med track. Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Carson’s love for food is rooted in her half-Indian heritage, which has sparked a deep appreciation for Indian cuisine. She’s especially interested in how Indian flavors blend with other cultures like masala tacos or cardamom-infused pastries.
A dedicated foodie, Carson makes it a mission to seek out the best eats wherever she travels, from local gems to destination hotspots. In her free time, she bakes everything from sourdough loaves to layered cakes, finding joy in the creativity and care behind each recipe. For Carson, food is more than just a meal, it’s a form of expression, connection, and comfort.
