Anzhu Ling

Anzhu Ling is an interactive developer currently doing a dual degree in art and engineering. After leaving the university to pursue his dream of becoming a comic book artist, Anzhu spent several years working as a freelance illustrator and web developer before returning to finish his degree. Born in Chongqing, Anzhu immigrated to the US at the age of five. He grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico where the confluence of American, Mexican, and Asian culture has exerted a perpetual influence on his work. During his free time Anzhu likes to go for long walks with his dog and read old anthropology books. Inspired by his favorite artists and authors, Anzhu believes that the many curiosities and interests of someone’s life should feed into and inform their writing and art. After graduation Anzhu plans to apply to several MFA programs focused on paint and printmaking.
