Nicole Golub is a freshman student at the University of Michigan studying computer science and economics. She is from Montvale, a small town in New Jersey, and now blends her East Coast background with her current Midwest lifestyle. Back at home, Nicole was deeply involved with her academics and extracurricular activities. She was an avid member of the DECA business club, and now continues to follow her passion for business by being a member of the Michigan Business Women and the Jewish Business Association. Nicole hopes to utilize her computer science knowledge while exploring different business career paths. Aside from academics, Nicole likes to be active by exercising. She has been practicing mixed martial arts for over 15 years and attends weekly kickboxing classes. Her other enjoyments include going on long walks, discussing current events, listening to music, and exploring new restaurants. In fact, Nicole is a passionate foodie and plans to intertwine her business knowledge with a career in the food industry. She has grown up cooking intricate meals for her family and herself. Nicole plans on taking her experiences to the next level by becoming a restaurant investor while also setting aside time to cook as a side-hobby. Her signature dish is Hungarian frankfurter goulash – a staple meal in her family.
