Oreoluwa Sokunbi was born in Nigeria and moved to New York at a young age, where he has lived for the majority of his life. He is currently attending the University of Michigan, where he will pursue a Bachelors in Computer Science. His passion for programming and his love for learning new things often lead him to develop unique, quirky software, such as his machine learning model, “mouds”, which analyzes a user’s spotify listening history to identify and display analytical information about the user’s current mood.  However, he doesn’t only make quirky software like this, but also applications that help make others’ lives easier, including his open source blogging software “Oreo”. In the future, he hopes to become a software engineer, being a mythical “10x developer” and helping to create innovative, impactful software and eventually create his own startup, heading it until IPO. When he’s not working on new software or writing blogs you can find him solving programming puzzles, reading, listening to music, and curating spotify playlists.
