Andrew Mojares

Andrew Mojares, a second-year undergraduate student at the University of Michigan (U-M), is pursuing a dual degree in Film and Biomedical Engineering. Growing up Filipino-American, Andrew has found a love for the many quintessential tokens of Filipino cuisine: lumpia, pancit, pork BBQ skewers, halo-halo… the list goes on. Recently elected as co-Media Chair on the executive board of the Filipino American Student Association (FASA) at U-M, Andrew strives to both uplift the Filipino community, as well as spread education and celebration surrounding Filipino culture. Outside of school, Andrew enjoys video game design, binge-watching horror movies, and collecting an endless stream of pop music on vinyl. Though not entirely sure what his future holds, Andrew imagines himself as a music video director or editor, game developer, or tissue engineer.
