Sarah Huh is a first-year student at the University of Michigan from Long Island studying nursing. Beyond her studies, Sarah finds solace and joy in the kitchen. Among her specialties are roll cakes, known for their delicate texture and intricate designs, and Korean steamed eggs, a comfort dish that brings a taste of home to her new surroundings.
Far from home, in Ann Arbor, Sarah is on a quest to find a Korean restaurant that feels like dining at her family's table, 638 miles away. Her favorite so far, Rich JC, hints at the possibility of finding that taste of home she yearns for. Through her search for the perfect meal, Sarah weaves her love for food into the fabric of her new life, blending the flavors of her past with the experiences of her present.
