Daniel Wang is an undergraduate student pursuing a college education at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. With a prospective major in Biology, he has a keen interest in microbiology and disease and possesses ample knowledge in the subject of Pathophysiology due to his participation in Health Occupations of Students of America (HOSA). Daniel currently holds a laboratory assistant position for researching neutrophils and NETs in patients with scleroderma. Additionally, he loves playing and performing piano, practicing public speaking, and is a semi-active member of Michigan’s Table Tennis Club. He wishes to pursue medical school after he graduates.
Because of Daniel’s Chinese cultural background, he developed a love for Chinese cuisine at a young age and enjoys all foods except mushrooms and eggplant. He consistently travels to China during the summer and loves tasting bizarre delicacies like duck tongue or pork blood. Chinese food is his favorite type of cuisine due to its massive variety and personal significance to him, and one of his favorite treats to eat there is Peking duck.
