Alexander Li is a freshman at the University of Michigan, majoring in Biochemistry. Growing up in a Chinese family in Michigan, Alex has eaten traditional Chinese meals at home all his life. He’s learned many Chinese and Japanese recipes from his grandmother, and together they learn Korean ones from the show Culinary Class Wars. Alex is passionate about both food and the culture behind it. He believes that eating together and sharing each other's culture are the two most important ingredients for a delicious meal. He hopes to become a doctor or a biochemist in the future, and to continue his love for learning and sharing recipes throughout his life.
