Ziyu (Ivy) Guo is a compassionate humanitarian devoted to self-exploration and self-development. Ivy loves street foods and Asian fusion cuisine. Her favorite dish is her grandma’s homemade dumplings.
Ivy is currently exploring and testing her passions in different fields. Last year, Ivy self-learned and got a Securities Analyst Qualification Certificate while dedicating herself to the financial analysis of the solar PV industry. She also completed a four-month consulting internship at McKinsey & Company. In high school, Ivy was the chief editor of the yearbook team. Among the inspiring yearbooks her team created, she is most proud of the 2020-2021 yearbook, which highlighted the theme of “convergence” during the pandemic.
Currently, Ivy is double-majoring in economics and history and preparing for the Peer Writing Consultant Program at the University of Michigan. In the future, Ivy wishes to utilize her sensibility to improve herself and help others.
