Catherine Clare Huber–better known as CC–is a first year undergraduate student at the University of Michigan planning to major in economics with a minor in Spanish. Before attending U-M, CC graduated from Hinsdale Central High School, a public but competitive high school 25 minutes outside of Chicago. There, she captained the girls swim and dive team, started her own non-profit fundraising organization, dedicated time to yoga and reading, and of course, developed a debilitating caffeine addiction. Since coming to college, CC has learned to see coffee as more than just an energy supplement. She enjoys visiting coffee shops around Ann Arbor and Chicago and is interested in coffee’s cultural impact on society, specifically her own generation. She has written a research paper on this topic and looks forward to contributing to the coffee industry and community for years to come.
