Christopher Mojares is a Sophomore undergraduate student attending the University of Michigan double majoring in Film and Biomedical Engineering. This year, Christopher has discovered an outlet for connecting with the community through the Filipino-American Student Association (FASA). After increasing involvement with FASA, including helping run an event celebrating Panagbenga, which required the rolling and frying of over 200 lumpia (a filipino-style egg roll), Christopher has been elected as a Media Chair for the executive board, where he will continue to share Filipino culture with the greater Michigan community. Besides the edible and visual content he’s created for FASA, Christopher’s impact can also be seen through the video games he’s developed as a part of CCF Studios, available through Roblox and the Apple App Store. In the future, Christopher hopes to expand his impact through the intersected spheres of Film and Engineering, whether that be through game development, prosthetic user-interface, or the integration of virtual reality in the medical field.
