Jayden Orr is a freshman studying biochemistry and is on a pre med track at the University of Michigan College of Literature Science and the Arts. He originates from Royal Oak, Michigan and attended Bishop Foley Catholic High School receiving All-Regional Honors in Soccer.
He hopes to attend medical school to fuel his passion for medicine and to become an orthopedic surgeon. In highschool, he took many science and anatomy classes sparking his passion for the medical field. He hopes to volunteer at the University of Michigan Medical Center to gain experience with helping patients. He plans on shadowing orthopedic surgeons and conducting medical research in the summer as well.
He loves to travel and try authentic food at each destination. Some of his favorite destinations have been Mexico, The Bahamas, and Costa Rica. From his youth, he enjoyed cooking with his grandma who introduced him to the culinary arts. Some of his favorite foods consist of Mexican street tacos, lasagna, and dim sum. After graduation he wishes to attend the University of Michigan Medical School or the University of Florida College of Medicine.
