Katie Kim is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan studying as a biology major. Raised in a small town in Birmingham, Michigan, she is an avid explorer of restaurants. Her passion for food extends beyond her Korean heritage as she has visited countless eateries, from neighborhood gems in Birmingham to acclaimed spots across different countries. Growing up in a Korean household, she can't go a full week without feeling homesick. Traveling since a young age has broadened her palate and introduced her to an incredible variety of cuisines, expanding her knowledge of unique flavors from teary-inducing spicy to intoxicating sweets. She hopes to continue her studies as a pre-dental student, and she hopes that other lovers of sweets are just her way of making sure future patients keep her busy.
