Field Service

Overview

This module is used to manage service agents that work outside. Functionality includes taking pictures, for instance, to assess damage or breakdowns or to confirm that work has been properly completed.

When the application opens, it will display all the Active transactions that have been assigned to the user.

Transactions are displayed in two rows. The top row displays the Transaction Code, Transaction No. Customer and Reference. The bottom row displays the Customer's street address.

The following functionality is available from the Transactions module.

Timekeeping

Setting: Transaction Types > Timekeeping > Transactions - Required for Timekeeping fields to display.

Start/Stop with an option of obtaining a digital signature to confirm the Start and Stop times.

The total hours that have been logged are displayed in the Transaction record. Open Timekeeping records are highlighted in the Hr/s field.

While a Timekeeping record is open, you can click the Note button to add/update a Note which will be linked to the Timekeeping record.

When you Stop timekeeping, you can check the Sign checkbox which will open the client signature panel which will now display a Note. You will also be prompted to confirm that the Job is complete.

Transaction Settings > Use Images - Required for Images button to display

Capture and link Images to the selected Transaction using any of your device cameras.

Click the Refresh button to download Images that are linked to the Transaction.
