Online Library

Overview

QuickEasy Software maintains an online library of Items that can be downloaded into your database. The Libraries are linked to Categories

The following libraries are available:

Fasteners - Screws, Bolts, Nuts, Washers, etc.
Materials - Steel, etc.
Minolta - Machines, Spares and Accessories
Drive Control - Machines, Spares and Accessories
Mimaki - Machines, Spares and Accessories
Paper - South Africa and Dubai only.

Navigation: Main Menu > Items > Items > Actions (button) > Online Library.

General Settings

Main Menu > Settings > General (tab)

System > Library Server Address: Type 13.244.36.238 in the Value column

Authentication

The license number (CUSID.SYSLICENSENO) is used to authenticate a client login to the Online Library. The field CUSID.SYSLIBCATID on the library DB is used to list the Category IDs, separated by commas, that the client has access to e.g. 15,16,17,19,22.

Buttons Explained

Connect: Connects to the online library.
Close: Closes the Online Library popup.
Import: Imports the records into the Category and Supplier selected in the preceding dropdown lists.

How to Import Records from a Library

Navigate to the Online Library.
Click Connect (button) to connect to the online server.
Click the arrow in the block next to Online Category to select a Category.
- Note: The Online Category lookup will be populated with a list of the Library Categories that you have access to.
Click View (button) to list the items.
Enter a search string to filter the available Items and then multi-select the Items you would like to Import.
Select a Category and a Supplier from your local database in the dropdown lists provided.
Click Import (button) to complete the process.
