Financial Statements
Overview
This module provides access to your management reporting including Trial Balance, Statement of Profit or Loss and Statement of Financial Position.
It opens to a dashboard with the following information generated according to the selected date:
Accounting Errors - Lists Transactions that are breaking the Trial Balance.
Accrual Accounts - Lists the Accrual Accounts as well as their balance as at the end of the selected period.
Pending Transactions (Accounting transactions not in an Accounting Status).
Financial Statement Notes - Notes to the Financial Statements can be linked to an Account and to a Period.
Chart - Profit or Loss
Chart - Financial Position
Key Metrics - Revenue, Expenses, Profit, Assets, Liabilities, Equity
Filters
The filters apply to the Dashboard, Statement of Profit or Loss as well as the Statement of Financial Position.
Report - Select a Report or leave it at the default All to view the combined profitability of the entire company.
Set - Select from a Date Period of Month or Year. When you select Fin year (months), all the periods for the selected financial year will be displayed.
Show - Select the number of years/months to display - maximum 12.
Percentage - Select from
None
Change - The percentage change between periods
Revenue - The percentage of each Account compared to the Turnover base on the setting below
Budget - The percentage of Actuals to the Budget.
Show all Accounts - Check this option if you want to view the unused, empty accounts.
Budget - Select a Budget to compare to the values on the Income Statement. The Budget filter is visible only when the Date is set to Fin Year (Months).
Search - Keyword search functionality in the report tree views to make searching easier. The Search column is hidden by default and contains the names of the parent accounts.
Display
When multiple Account Categories are linked to a Section (Revenue, Cost of Sales or Expenses), the Categories are displayed as the second-level group in the Statement for Profit or Loss.

The following data pipelines can be used from the Financial Statements module:
FS_Filter - Exposes the Data Filter

Settings
Staff Settings > Accounting > Financial Statements - Access Allowed - Yes/No (Default = No)
This module must be added to the menu by selecting Type = Fixed and Module = Financial Statements.
