Planning Board Mode

Overview

This Timekeeping model works with the production Planning Board and provides a feature-rich model for recording time against Services.

How to record time linked to a Job

Start

  • Use the number pad to enter your PIN - click Login (Button) to continue.

  • The Active tasks for the User's Planning Board Stage will be displayed in the list on the right. (The User's default Planning Board Stage is selected according to the Stage linked to the User). Click the button that contains the Stage name to select a different Planning Board Stage. Tasks that are in a Default = New status are not displayed in the list

  • Select a Workstation and click the Start button. By default, only the Workstations linked to the same Cost Centre as that of the Stage is displayed. Click the All button or one of the Alphabet buttons to show more Workstations.

  • If prompted, select an NCR (or N/A (default) or NCR pending)

Stop

  • Click the applicable record in the Active Jobs list and then click Stop.

  • If prompted, add the Completed/Spoiled quantity.

  • Select the new task Status (Complete or Part Complete) and click the Stop button.

How to record Downtime (DT)

Start

  • Use the number pad to enter your PIN - click Login (Button) to continue.

  • Click the Start DT button.

  • Select a Workstation and click the Start button. By default, only the Workstations linked to the User's Cost Centre are displayed. Click the All button or one of the Alphabet buttons to show more Workstations.

  • If there are no downtime codes to select from, click the Start button to complete the process or click the Next button to continue.

  • Select the Downtime Code that best describes the reason for stopping work and click the Start button to complete the process.

Stop

  • Click the applicable downtime record in the Active Jobs list and select Stop.

Settings

  • Transactions > Tracker > Module: Timekeeping - Enables the Timekeeping module for the selected Transaction and adds an icon to the Menu.

  • Roles > Tracker > Timekeeping: Mode - Select Planning Board to enable this model.

  • Roles > Tracker > Timekeeping: Record Quantities (Yes/No - Default = No) - This setting enables the functionality to record Completed and Spoiled quantities when Timekeeping is Stopped.

  • Roles > Tracker > Timekeeping: Update Status (Yes/No - Default = No) - This setting enables the functionality to change the Planning Board Status when Timekeeping is Stopped.

  • Roles > Tracker > Timekeeping: Enable NCR - Yes/No (Default = No)

  • Roles > Tracker > Timekeeping: Auto-Logout after Start - Seconds (0 = Disable)

  • Roles > Tracker > Timekeeping: Auto-Logout after Stop - Seconds (0 = Disable)

Planning Board Settings

Stage > Tracking - Select one or more of the following: Setup, Run and Washup.

Timekeeping Settings

Menu (button) > Edit Downtime Codes - Used when recording Downtime.
