Timekeeping App (Mobile)
Our new Timekeeping mobile application has been released. See Documentation:
Enhancements
Entities have been added to the Batch Updates in the Supplier and Items modules.
Inventory Module - An Actions to Rebuild Inventory Transactions has been added. The Action will be applied to the multi-selected records.
Service Manager - An Expand checkbox has been added to the Responses panel - when checked, the notes are fully expanded.
Stock Check - A Supplier field has been added to the grid view to display the name of the (first active) Supplier linked to the Item.
Timekeeping module - A Tracking (Setup, Run, Washup, Travel, etc.) selection has been added to the Data Filter.
Supplier Payments (module) - User access rights are now required to Post to Ledger an Approved Transaction (previously Admin rights were required). You are now able to enter a payment amount when no invoices have been allocated to the Supplier Payment (eg. for a deposit payment).
Weighbridge module - The Reg No. of the vehicle which is weighed is now added to the Transaction Item Note.
NCR Module - The Estimated Cost of an NCR has been added to the List view and the Edit View of the NCR module - it's calculated from the Unit Price of the linked Transaction (Work Order) x Qty specified on the NCR.
Ringrollers Data Type - A new Ringrollers data type has been added for use as an Estimate Type. This table includes all the fields required to Quote on rolled rings including trains wheels and tyres. Budgets - You are now able to add a new Sales budget: Sales (Customer Categories)
Pumps - this release includes an update API for the Pump Selector.
Pricing Module Enhancements
Price Lists - When a Price is cleared, the price now defaults to 0 and the GM% is populated with 0%. This makes it easier to see which prices have linked Price List items. You can still remove the linked Price List record using Actions.
Inventory Prices - A Cost Price field has been added with an Action to Update to Cost Price. The first Active linked Cost Price in local currency is selected into the Cost Price field. A Var CP field has been added to indicate the difference between Cost Price and Inventory Price. The new fields are hidden by default.
Price Lists have been added to the Customer > Batch Updates.
Transaction Enhancements
Notes added to Transactions are now also added to the linked SM or SLS record and are visible when the Flow filter is selected in the SM/SLS modules.
Supplier Transactions - When Items are copied from other transactions, the Sup Ref is now also appended to the Item Description.
You are now able to view the Item Specification in the Copy dialogue.
The Item Subcategory has been added to the Estimate Costs views.
New Transaction Settings: Set default Required Date (Days from Transaction Date) / Set default Due Date (Days from Transaction Date) - applied on insert.
A data model for Import/Export has been added and can be enabled using the Transaction Setting > Enable Import/Export (Y/N)
A function to View Item Specifications has been added to the Transaction Edit Form - See Menu (button).
Settings Enhancements
A BOS User and a Role field have been added to the Staff listview to indicate which Staff members are users - hidden by default. (Tech note: An explicit field, ISUSERID, is now used to identify users)
Status (Staff Status) and Role fields have been added to the Users list view. The Role field in this view is now used to link a User to a Role. (The list of Users/Roles has been removed from the Roles view)
A menu item to Remove from Users has been added (Previously you could remove users by clearing their password). User settings and role links are now deleted when a User is removed.
A Summary view has been added where you can select a Staff member to see their Settings (User and Role Settings) or you can select a Setting to see all the Staff that have access. A Preview panel displays the Blob values.
User Settings > Copy Settings (Right-click User and select > Copy Settings) - this function has been enhanced to allow for a more granular selection of settings to copy.
A Delete button (applied to multiple selected records) has been added to General Settings - enabled only when Default Settings are enabled.
Sales Enhancements
A Total (exc) field has been added to the Transactions grid view - Total amount excluding VAT in local currency.
An Expand checkbox has been added to the Activity panel - when checked, the notes are fully expanded.
Sales Activity has been moved to the Reports section of the Menu (button) dropdown.
Actions > Send a Message has been added to the Edit View.
The (pointless) Filter has been removed from Sales Comparison report.
The following Board Views have been added with a column header that displays the Count, Once-off and Annual value of the Board.. The boards exclude Pending and cancelled opportunities and respect the 'View all Customers' setting. Drag-drop can be used across columns to update records:
Board (Status) - A Kanban board view with columns for each Status - ordered by Projected Date.
Board (Projected) - A Kanban view with columns for Earlier, 6 months (Starting this month) and Later - ordered by Status, Projected Date
Work Processes Enhancements
Lookups for Staff and Level have been added to the Data Filter.
Fixes
Fixed: Sales - When a Contact was added, the Display as field was not updated.
Fixed: Spelling mistake in Sales module 'Refered' to 'Referred'
Fixed: You were not able to clear the Status fields in the Transaction > Checklist setup.
Fixed: The Batch Update for Staff was not working correctly in the Work Processes module - the upgrade script removes duplicates in staff links.
Fixed: you were not able to select the Payable and Receivable accounts in the Detailed Ledger.
Fixed: The Items Base Unit has now been excluded from the meter data list in the Service Manager. (Applicable to ST's with linked Assets)
Optimisation: The Inventory view has been removed from the Sales module.
Optimisation: The Transaction > Contract billing fields have been reduced in size to prevent the form from scrolling when viewed in a smaller width.
Tech Notes
The local HDD No. now gets added to the login audit.
Tracker Fixes
Fixed: Tracker - Timekeeping - Planning Board mode: When a User who was not linked to a Cost Centre logged into the Tracker, the caption for Active Jobs would contain the name of the user who logged in previously.
Fixed: Tracker - Timekeeping - Planning Board mode: When multiple Timekeeping modules (Linked to specific transactions) were added to the Tracker, you could select all the transactions in any of the modules.
