This module is used to record Timekeeping in BOS Enterprise for Travel and Work. Timekeeping can be linked to Projects (Tasks) or Transactions or linked to a Customer (unlinked). When you log time against Travel, you can also record your opening and closing odometer readings which will calculate the kilometres travelled.
This Timekeeping feature is ideal for:
Businesses that pay their contractors or consultants an hourly rate and want to keep track of the time and costs.
Businesses that charge for their services by the hour or by using service-level agreements. They can have a record of travel time, distance and time spent at the customer's premises.
Timekeeping records captured in the Mobile App, are recorded in BOS Enterprise simultaneously.
Table of Contents
ℹ️ This view displays either all the Transactions or all the Projects (Tasks) depending on the selection under Mobile App > Timekeeping Mode. The option that is active will be displayed next to the BOS Enterprise logo.
Travel: Starts a new unlinked travel-related Timekeeping record.
Work: Starts a new unlinked Timekeeping record.
ℹ️ Transactions are displayed if they are in an Active Status and they are assigned to one or more Users. If multiple users are assigned, the transaction will appear on all their lists until someone completes it.
ℹ️ Tasks or Projects are displayed if the User is set as the Resource for that Task.
The entries are grouped by the following Due Dates:
Earlier
Today (expanded by default)
Tomorrow
Later
The number of entries is displayed in brackets next to each group header.
Tapping a Task or Transaction opens a context menu with the following options:
Start Travel: Visible when the user is not currently logging time. Allows the user to start a Travel-related Timekeeping record.

Add Image: Allows the users to take a photo and add it as an image to the Transaction or Project.
