Connecting to SPS_Secure on an Android device (and non-district Chromebooks)
Note: Versions and flavors of Android vary significantly by device vendor. These instructions should get you going, though.
1. In Android, go into the Settings app.
2. Tap the “Wi-Fi” or “Wireless” option and join “SPS_Secure”.
Note: If you mess up, it's best to Forget the Wi-Fi connection and rejoin.
On newer versions of Android:
Select “PEAP” as the EAP method.
Select “MSCHAPV2″ as the Phase 2 authentication. (This step may be found under Advanced Options.)
On more recent versions of Android, it may require you to select the "Do not validate" option under CA Certificates.
Under Domain, put "springfield.k12.or.us"
Under Identity, type your district email address: "first.last@springfield.k12.or.us"
Under Password, type your district account password.
Click Save.
Note: If you are asked to accept a certificate, please do so.
On older versions of Android and ChromeOS:
