Use Google Calendar to create appointment slots that can be independently signed up for by students, families or peers.

During this self-study session, you will:

Let's Get Started

1. Watch the Setting Up Calendar Appointments video.

2. Create an appointment with slots in Google Calendar.

3. Click on the calendar item to view the event information. 

4. Select and copy "Go to appointment page for this calendar."

Send the link to a friend who is willing to sign up for an appointment to ensure that everything works as you expect it to.

5. Share the link.

If it works, send the link to your intended participants or paste it into Google Classroom/Seesaw.

6. Meet!

When you are ready to start your Google Meet with your guest, click on the slot in your calendar.

Technical Notes

You can edit the details of your event at any time.

When you open Google Meet on a day that you have appointments scheduled, they will all show up automatically and you can join from there.
