Seesaw & Seesaw for Families (K-5)
Some families may ask why they have a different view than their student has.
The student view and family view is different because:
Student Privacy. Seesaw for Students allows students to see each others' work. Seesaw for Families only allows the family to view their own student's work.
Families do not have access to the "Activities" Tab. Families, however, do have the capability to send 1:1 messaging, where students do not.
Although families may like to have the same "view" as their student, however, at this time, Seesaw does not offer some of these features for Family Accounts. The family view has access to all of their child's work. Everything the student sees in their own journal is accessible from the parent's view as well.
Please review the slides learn how students sign in to Seesaw.
Video Conferencing
Video conferences will use Google Meet.
