Learn about Tech in SPS
Seesaw for Schools is used by K-5 teachers to share activities, manage student work, and share feedback with your students and families.
If you are an administrator, click here.
Although you may be tempted, NEVER, EVER change the Class Settings "student sign in mode."
This setting MUST be left as "email/Google."
You may read about class codes on the Seesaw website, but we do not use them here because Tech Services has automated the class, student account, and enrollment processes.
During this self-study session, you will:
Sign in to the SPS Portal to access your account
Watch the Quick Start video if you are new or need a refresher; otherwise, watch What's New.
1. Click here to review the Seesaw Account information.
2. Click here to learn how to use Seesaw Messages.
Once you have reviewed ALL of the information, sign in to the SPS Portal and click the Seesaw tile.
3. New to Seesaw? Need a review? Watch the short Seesaw for Schools overview video below.
NOTE: The narrator will ask you to pause the video and try the various things she has demonstrated. Please pause! If you don't the information will be presented too quickly to remember.
3. Watch the short video What's New in Seesaw — this video will be helpful for both new and returning Seesaw users.
The getting started guides and video(s) you just watched gave a lot of information in a very short amount of time.
Reflect: What will you have your students do the first time they sign in through the SPS Portal?
