If your mailbox is full and you're running out of space, you can follow these instructions to free up some space.
First, make sure you've deleted everything out of your Deleted Items. Log into OWA, right-click (Control Click with a Mac) on the Deleted Items folder and select Empty Folder.
How to Delete Multiple Messages in Outlook Web App (OWA) Email.
1. Navigate to the folder you would like to delete the messages from (e.g. Inbox). Select the first email you would like to delete to highlight it.
2. Hold down the Shift key on your keyboard. With the key still held, select an older or newer message within the list. This will highlight all items in between the two messages you have already selected.
3. Right-click on the selected messages and select Delete.
4. This will now delete all the highlighted emails at once.
Note: We advise you to select roughly 15 emails or less at any one time. OWA will not highlight your emails if you are trying to select more than this.
How to Sort Emails in OWA
Sort your email messages in a way that's helpful to you. For example, sort by the name of the sender or the recipient, the date of the email message, its size, and other options.
Select Filter at the top of your inbox.
2. Under Sort by, choose any option you prefer to sort your email.
Quick Tips:
By sorting by date, you can choose to have the oldest date on top, easier to select and delete.
By sorting by size, you can have the largest size emails, usually with attachments, on top for easy review and deletion. This option frees up email space quickly.
Note: Even after you delete messages from your mailbox, they will still be available in our Barracuda email archive, which is available via the SPS Portal.
