K-1 Teacher iPads
Overview
Tech Services will be distributing iPads to K-1 teachers this fall.
Using iPads for Classroom Demonstrations
K-1 teachers will be able project their iPads for student demonstrations using the Airserver app on their computer.
These are the steps you will need to take to make sure that you have what you need and are able to use Airserver to project.
Please read the following carefully.
Step 1
If you have never used Airserver:
Request Airserver by filling out this form.
You will receive an email from Jenny Neiwert with a link to download the software and a license code.
If you have used Airserver, but it is not on your new computer:
Fill out this form so that we can get your license transferred.
You will receive an email from Jenny Neiwert with a link to download the software and a license code.
Step 2
How to Set Up and Use Airserver
Click here to watch the video on how to use Airserver and then walk through the directions for setting it up on your computer. There's a nice tip at the end of the video you may not be aware of. :-)
Try it and make sure that it works as expected. If it does not, review the directions to ensure that your settings are correct and try it again. If it still does not work, put in a HelpDesk Ticket.
