K-1 iPad Information for Staff

Overview

This page contains information about student learning tools, signing in, technical information, and how to contact the Family Support team.

iReady requires that students use their QR code to sign into the SPS Portal and then click the iReady icon.

To use Seesaw or Google Meet, students will need to sign in Google (one time) and use their QR code, or username/password, to sign in to the SPS Portal, as shown in the video below. This enables students to access everything they need and is a one-time task so long as the student is does not sign out and no one else signs in to Google, the students should be good for the year.

Student Learning Tools: SPS Portal & Apps

Students will use their QR code to sign in to the SPS Portal. If the family has not received a QR code, they can sign in to the portal with the student username/password.

Sign In Directions

Students will need to sign in to the SPS Portal, Google and Seesaw to use their iPads for learning as demonstrated in the video.

Step 1: Open Safari and go to google.com

Step 2: Enter your student's username followed by @sps19.org and password.

Step 3: Stay signed in and your student will be able to access Google Meet and Seesaw without signing in again.

The district-issued iPad is the only device that your student should use to access their classwork. Please ensure that the only person logging in on the device is the student to ensure that your student will be able to successfully access their learning materials.
