Mobile Email
Overview
This information is for district-owned mobile devices, such as iPads, cell phones, etc. The district uses Microsoft Exchange for its email, calendaring, and contacts.
Tech Services is unable to support personal devices. However, if you should choose to set up your own device, please use the settings below.
Accessing Email from Mobile Device
Settings:
Account Type: Microsoft Exchange
Incoming/Outgoing Mail Servers: webmail.springfield.k12.or.us
Domain: springfield.k12.or.us
Username: Your Exchange username (ex. john.doe)
Password: Your Exchange password
Use SSL: On
How to Set up Microsoft Outlook App
From the App Store or Google Play, get and open the Microsoft Outlook App.
If Office 365 logo appears, find “Not 365” in the upper right-hand corner.
Change Provider, choose Exchange
Enter full SPS email address
Use Advanced Settings
Description: can be left blank
Server: webmail.springfield.k12.or.us
Domain: can be left blank
Username: springfield\firstname.lastname
Use email password
After the app is configured properly, open app and log in with your firstname.lastname and email password.
