Learn about Tech in SPS
This information is for district-owned mobile devices, such as iPads, cell phones, etc. The district uses Microsoft Exchange for its email, calendaring, and contacts.
Tech Services is unable to support personal devices. However, if you should choose to set up your own device, please use the settings below.
Download the Outlook app to your mobile device.
Open the app and add your account. The sign in process changes regularly, but here's how it works as of May 2026:
Tap "Add Account".
On the next screen, tap "Skip". It may find a "Microsoft 365" account, but this is not what you want to use.
On the next screen, type your full email address and tap "Add Account".
On the next screen, ensure your email address is correct and then enter your password. Then tap "Sign In".
You should be all done!
In the settings:
Account Type: Microsoft Exchange
Incoming/Outgoing Mail Servers: webmail.springfield.k12.or.us
Domain: springfield.k12.or.us
Username: Your Exchange username (ex. john.doe)
Password: Your Exchange password
Use SSL: On
