Elementary ELD Report Cards

This page is intended for ELD teachers at elementary schools to learn how to enter ELD Report Cards in Synergy. Click here if you are a General Ed Teacher interested in information about ELD Report Cards in Synergy.

ELD Teachers can access ELD specific sections in TeacherVue.  These sections contain all the ELD students at their school and allow for access to those students ELD Report Cards and student data.  For information on Elementary Report Card entry, please see the Elementary Report Cards page

Here are the instructions for accessing the ELD Report Card in TeacherVUE for staff who normally log in to SIS:

• 1. Click on the 'Bell' icon in the upper left of the main Synergy SIS screen.

  2. TeacherVUE will open in a new window or tab.

  3. The Class Focus selector should be visible. If not, click the button that says NO FOCUS in the upper left corner.

  4. Click the dropdown that says Select a teacher... and click on the ELD teachers name.  ELD teachers will see all the students from each grade level in their class.

  5. Hover your mouse over the Report Card menu at the top of the screen and select Report Card Matrix. Please see the Report Card Matrix video (password is synergy) to learn how to use this screen. In the Template menu, select a template with the abbreviation ELD in it.

  6. If not all ELD students appear in the Report Card Matrix screen, the Report Card Template for the student will need to be changed. Please enter a HelpDesk ticket to let Tech Services know that a template must be changed. To verify that all students in your school have the correct template assigned, view the ELD Student Report Card Template report in Admin Reports (found in the Report Card menu in Grade Book).

Important: If scores are entered into a report card, and the template is then changed, those scores will need to be re-entered on the new template. Be sure to verify that all students have the correct template selected prior to the beginning of the grading window.
